Personality:

Ashlyn is usually the 'mom' friend while somehow also being incredibly reckless. She cares very easily and very deeply about people, but she also finds herself using that care for to convince people to do things for her.

Although, she doesn't intend to manipulate her friends and family, it often ends up being that way. She will tell a secret she doesn't care about sharing, but then someone will tell her an actual secret. She also has a bad habit of saying she agrees with both people in a fight separately.

But she's always the sunshine girl, unable to stop smiling, so when she does people will often ask her, "What's wrong?", which she hates.

She is also extremely competitive, often without realizing it. When she does something whether for school or for fun, she has to be the best. Oftentimes though, she's not the best, and has to remind herself to chill out.

Physical Description:

Ashlyn is a brunette with dark brown eyes. She is over average height for an eleven-year-old at 4'11. With an athletic build, she excels in sports such as swimming and running, but, to her great disappointment, not quidditch.

Mental Description:

Overall, Ashlyn could be described best as an optimist. She tries her best to best positive, even though growing up with a pureblood family is not easy as it seems, mentally. Sometimes she struggles, but she usually overcomes it.

Biography:

Ashlyn's parents Erica and Solomon Morris are prominent members of pureblood society. Although obviously loving to their three children (Ashlyn is the youngest, followed by her brother Noah and sister Lydia), they still remained rather prejudiced towards those who they believe are 'lesser'. This has clearly tainted their kids' childhoods with a vein of pureblood suprematist ideology.

Thankfully, Erica and Solomon seem to be tolerant of different beliefs from their children. This was shown by the fact that their oldest Lydia is currently engaged to a muggleborn (Thomas Beular) and has not been disowned. Yet.

Growing up in a pureblood family, there was always more than enough money, and so Ashlyn had a lavish childhood full of play without want nor worry for anything. It wasn't until Ashlyn was ten that she realized there were others who were not as advantaged as her family; this sometimes will lead to her being insensitive and oblivious when it comes to money issues her friends have.

The Morris family home (read: mansion) was by the sea, and an ideal place to grow up. Erica's parents lived with the family, and so Ashlyn saw her grandparents often. Her other grandparents, on her father Solomon's side live in London, and often they would visit. Ashlyn was popular with many of the other magical children in the town, and when she was not learning basic subjects such as Math (the Morris's homeschooled their children until Hogwarts), she was frolicking near the sea, or curled up in a tree reading once she knew how.

It was probably because of her habit of climbing trees with only one hand (the other usually held a book or snack ) that caused Ashlyn to have broken her arm twice by her nineth birthday. She wasn't a very careful child, often brash and reckless, not thinking twice before doing something. Oftentimes her brother or sister would have to get her out of trouble.

By the time Hogwarts rolled around, Ashlyn was a happy albeit ignorant child who was excited to learn magic.

First Instance of Magic:

Ashlyn was a late bloomer, not showing a single sign of magic until the first time she broke her arm when she was seven years old. She'd finally figured out how to read, and had decided to bring her book up to a tree, but miscalculated and ended up falling out. She landed on her arm, causing it to break.

But that was not the magic.

The magic she accidentally performed was that when her brother Noah found her, she was in immense pain with a broken limb, but by the time he'd carried her to their mother, Erica, the limb was nearly all healed.

This type of magic, although hard to perform on yourself on purpose, was Ashlyn's first case of accidental magic.
