Physical Description: Maria has light
brown skin showing off her Hispanic culture. Her long brown curly hair is what makes Maria herself. She has two dimples on the side of her cheeks. She is 4’8 and has a somewhat athletic body. She has freckles on her arms and legs. She loves her acrylic french tip nails.
Mental Description: Maria is hard driven and very focused. She can be over competitive which is s huge flaw for her. She has never really failed in school especially not in PE. Maria is very selfless she will stop the world to help someone if they need or if they don’t. She is very outgoing and always talks but can also listening very well too. She loves sports and works twice as hard as a normal 11 year old girl would.She very observant to everything surrounding her. She has problems with her perfectionism and competitiveness because of what her family pushed her to do. She loves to talk and asks random questions because of her ADHD. Her ADHD has never really caused any problems except her random questions and wondering mind but its only a very mild basic level.
Biography: Maria’s life before Hogwarts was nothing to over the top but it was good. She lived in a moderately sized house with her mama , papa , abuela (dad’s side), her tia Domi(mom’s side), and 5 brothers . She always loved sports and being active with her brothers. She lived in a neighborhood with mostly wizardry people and families. She had lots of friends anywhere she would go. She was the only daughter and granddaughter. Her abuelo(dad’s side) died before she was born but her mom’s parents live in Spain still. She is bilingual (English,Spanish and a little Latin) and never shows off to others. She loves to randomly start speaking Spanish when talking to other Spanish speakers if she can find them and they are comfortable speaking Spanish and English in one conversation. Maria used to do beauty pageants when she was younger because she was the only girl and the youngest child and her mama ,tía ,and abuela pushed her to do it. She is very good at fake smiling ,smiling through the pain, and applying makeup. Her competitiveness comes from the fear of losing these beauty pageants and her perfectionism comes from when her mama used to yell at her not to be mean but to make sure that she never make a mistake ever again that would cost her the beauty pageant winner. She has been wearing heels and makeup since she was 3. She has also done gymnastics, soccer, football, basketball ,swimming, dancing/singing , and cheerleading.
First Instance of Magic: Maria’s first instance of magic was when she was 7. It was a hot sunny day at the park with her brother’s and tía Domi. When a older kids took her football and played with it. Meanwhile she sat with her favorite cherry flavored ice cream and thought about unicorns playing soccer. When suddenly she sneezed and bubbles sprayed out. She giggled and was surprised but overall not a bad experience to her.
