Biography: Jessica is the youngest child of the Wendell family. Her father, Andrew Wendell, works at the Ministry of Magic, in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. He is a pureblood and a former Ravenclaw. Her mother, Laura Wendell, is a healer who cultivates magical plants. She is Muggle-born and a former Hufflepuff. Her only older sister, Flora, is four years older than her and is also a student.
Jessica grew up in a detached house with a garden. Her greatest hobby is caring for the flowers and plants in the garden. She also knows how to play the piano. She previously tried her sister's broom under her sister's supervision and got away with just a small scratch.
Before going to Hogwarts, she had a life like that of an ordinary child from a wizarding family. When her first letter arrived, she wasn't particularly surprised, as she already knew about it. But she was still excited to see it for the first time.
