Esther Hannelore Morgenstern, better known as Esther Morgenstern was born is Swansea, on the 13th of January 2007 to a british pure-blood witch Lorenna Bell and a german nobleman Eduard Morgenstern. She was the third child in the family and she was the only girl, so both her father who wanted a strong heir and her two brothers Joshua and Jeremiah looked down on her. But despite her family not being very protective, she was well-raised and was taught to hide her feelings and be calm, reserved and polite at all times. The first time her powers showed was when she was 8. At this time she got angry with a family friend who made fun of her for not being very talented in cooking. She almost electrocuted the man, of course accidentally. After this the her father was scared that her daughters powers would cause his popularity to fade, and wanted to lock Esther in a room for the rest of her life. At this point, it was her mothers credit for saving her. She told her husband that Esthers powers could become dangerous if left uncontrolled, so the scared father passed her off to her grandmother, where she had to care for herself from the age of 9. Despite these happening she was never mad at her family, since she understood how strange and scary it is if the child you think is nothing special suddenly develops power you don't understand. When she got her letter from Hogwarts, she was delighted to finally get out of this place, and with the help of her mother, she prepared to leave in no time.
Because she was neglected, she is independent and mindful of the world around her. She is also clever, and quick when it comes to making decisions. She seeks the attention of others, and is very sociable, but also secretive and likes to keep her problems to herself. Some of her early friends say that the fact that she had no emotional support growing up left her broken, and that she sometimes feels empty inside and can be cunning and ruthless when it comes to protecting her friends.
Esther values nothing more then freedom in her life, which makes her rebellious and sometimes shy. She would rather let her dreams die and be alone then be locked in a house and in a lifestyle again.
