Physical Description: Diana Roberts is small for her age, standing at roughly 4'6. She has a slim build, and in most cases, her face looks thoughtful. She has dark brown hair that falls in soft waves to her shoulders, usually pulled back for school, but left loose otherwise. Her eyes are a muted grey-green, which are often sharp and curious, and often flick around as if she’s taking in more than she lets on. She dresses simply—hoodies, trainers, and oversized jumpers—favoring comfort over fashion, unless at school, then she'll wear the proper uniform.


Mental Description: Diana is a quiet, curious, thoughtful, and observant girl. She deeply thinks before she speaks or acts, trying to figure out what is the best thing to say or do, depending on the situation. Diana notices small details easily; changes in people's moods, routine changes, and remembers things others forget. She's a great person to tell secrets to, since she won't tell them to others. When it comes to interactions, she prefers listening over talking and feels more comfortable in small groups or one-on-one conversations.

Sometimes it can take her a while to decide since she can be cautious and often second-guesses herself. However, once she makes up her mind on something, she's stubborn until she gets what she wants. Diana has a strong sense of right and wrong and struggles when she sees something she thinks is unfair, even if she doesn’t always know how to speak up about it.

Biography: On September 10, 2013, Hannah Roberts, a half-blood witch, and Michael Roberts, a half-blood wizard, welcomed a baby girl named Diana into the family. Diana was raised in a small but comfortable flat located in the muggle part of Walthamstow, England. Hannah works as a librarian, and Michael works as a science teacher at a local secondary school. Although both of them were part of the wizarding world, they lived mostly among Muggles and preferred a quieter life away from magical society.

Diana lived a fairly ordinary life before Hogwarts. She attended a local primary school, spent a lot of time reading or drawing, and preferred listening to conversations rather than leading them. When it came to mentions of magic, her parents were careful, not wanting to overwhelm her with everything, so they let her grow up normally. Aside from this, she knew magic existed, but it was rarely discussed in detail, and never treated as something dramatic or special.

Diana was close with her parents, but was probably even closer with her grandmother Margaret. Diana often visited her, since she lived nearby and doted on her endlessly. While growing up, Diana was thoughtful and observant, sometimes seeming older than her age.

First Instance of Magic: Diana was seven the first time magic answered her without permission.

It happened on a wet November evening, the kind where the sky pressed low against the windows and everything felt too loud. It was one of those days when she felt like having cake before dinner, but her parents wouldn't let her, so she threw a tantrum—and the feeling built fast in her chest: hot, tight, frightening. She ran into the living room, crouched down near the glass coffee table, and she tried to keep her emotions under control, but a sharp snap was heard; the coffee table had a long crack in the middle.

It took Diana a moment for her to comprehend what had just happened. She had cracked the coffee table, without meaning to. Her parents soon rushed in, both fully knowing what had happened before they even saw it. Hannah carefully explained to Diana that she had just had her first instance of accidental magic and that she was a witch.

Later that night, Diana couldn't sleep. The events of that night were still playing in her head. She was a witch, and she had accidentally broken the coffee table.
