Physical Description:
At 149cm/4'9'', I'm a bit taller than average for my age and have an overall slender build. My hair is black except for a small white streak on the front left side. I've had it since birth, most likely a simple pigmentation disorder. My hair is slightly wavy and reaches my collarbones; I usually wear it loose. My eyes are a striking, intense green, which is even more noticeable against my pale complexion. Typical of my pureblood heritage, I have a narrow nose and a delicate facial structure. My serious expression is softened somewhat by a few freckles. My clothing style is also very pureblood-oriented and elegant, but I definitely more enjoy wearing whimsical goth, especially when I'm spending time with friends.
Mental Description:
I'm a typical introvert; empathetic, observant, intelligent, and strategic. I don't seek dominance, I value knowledge and loyalty far more. However, if someone gets too close, I'll use the information I've gathered. Although I'm empathetic, I was taught at home that not everyone deserves it. This is why I sometimes seem emotionally reserved, almost cold. But once someone has earned my trust, I'm loyal and honest, I'll do everything to protect my friends.
Generally, I prefer to operate behind the scenes; I don't like the limelight. Which leads to curiosity and a need to understand the deeper structure of the world around me. Authority does not intimidate me.
Biography:
I only have vague memories of my biological parents. I don't know who they were or why they gave me away. I only know that they were purebloods. When I was four, Raymond Blag, also a pureblood wizard, took me in. He knew my parents, but he doesn't talk about them. At some point, I had to accept that there are questions in this world that will never be answered.
(What I don't know, they didn't gave me away because they didn't love me. My mother became really ill after my birth. Four long years they tried everything to be parents and to get better. But it didn't. With my third birthday coming, my mother died, because of her magically illness. It broked my fathers heart and something with him was completely gone. Everytime he looked at me, he only could see my mother. He knew he could't be my father anymore, because it destroyed him. So he gave me to Raymond and went to St. Mungos to get better. Raymond doesn't talk about, because he wanted that I could develop freely and not controlled by my past. He knew at my young age, I would't understand, and see myself as the problem.)
Life with Raymond wasn't always easy. He was never particularly effusive or emotional, yet he showed me in his own way that we are family and that we must support and protect each other. That's how I came to love him as a father and am grateful to have him.
It was always important to him that I figure things out for myself; "sometimes you have to feel rather than listen". My childhood was still relatively lonely; I spent it in an old townhouse in Richmond, England, which had long been in the Blags' family, surrounded by books, long corridors, and grumpy portraits. The house-elves, often my only company besindes Raymond, were always treated with respect, something he early on insisted.
Although everything in my life was brimming with magic, we lived a life separate from the wizarding world. As a result, I never really made any friends. I truly hope that changes at Hogwarts!
First Instance of Magic:
When I was six years old, my magic first manifested itself in a concrete way.
I was home alone that day, as always, looking for something new to discover. So I wandered down one of the long corridors. I wasn't really supposed to be wandering around this part of the house alone, but you have to seize opportunities when they present themselves, or so I thought. Suddenly, an old portrait screamed at me at the top of its lungs. It was so loud, so sharp, so terrifying. I was afraid of being caught. I just wanted it to stop. The next moment, the portrait froze in front of me. It no longer screamed, it didn't move. And not only that, when I slowly turned around, all the other portraits in the corridor had frozen as well. It had never been so quiet. I knew it could only be my magic that had answered my inner plea.
Distraught and overwhelmed, I ran to Elva, one of our house-elves. She tried to comfort me and reassure me that Raymond wouldn't be angry. Later, when he returned, she spoke with him.
From then on, Raymond began to teach me to control my emotions, how to breathe through, how to stay grounded when the world felt too loud.
