May Sturniolo is an eleven-year-old girl who grew up in England with her Muggle parents. She had a safe and stable childhood surrounded by care and support. Her family is loving, and she attended a regular local school. May spent much of her free time outdoors and developed a deep love for animals, especially horses and dogs. Being around animals helps her feel calm during stressful moments.

May lives with ADHD and anxiety, which affect her daily life. She struggles to focus, feels restless, and becomes overwhelmed easily. New places, loud noises, and large groups make her nervous. Even so, May is kind, thoughtful, and determined. She tries hard, even when things feel difficult, and hates giving up. Skateboarding is one of her favorite hobbies because it helps clear her thoughts.

May is about five foot zero inches tall. She has bright blue eyes and long, brown, wavy hair that she usually wears loose. She prefers comfortable clothing like hoodies, flannel shirts, jeans, and sneakers. Her style is simple and practical.

Her first instance of magic happened in England when she was eight years old. While skateboarding at a park, she fell and should have been badly hurt. Instead, her body slowed in midair without injury. All the witnesses had their memories altered by the Ministry using a Memory Charm.
