Calypso is no angel. cunning, possessive, loyal, strong, and ambitious. She is not afraid to voice her thoughts. She is extremely protective of her friends and loved ones, even standing up to older, stronger students.

Before her life started at Hogwarts, Calypso lived in a large house in London with her mother, father, and younger brother. She lived her days out in peace, reading and writing in the wildflowers behind her house. She didn't really have any friends before Hogwarts, except a nosy half-blood boy who sometimes poked his face above the fence separating their properties.

Calypso's parents feared for six years that their daughter was unable to perform magic. For six years they told her about the magical world and even told her about the great battle that fell upon Hogwarts with The Dark Lord. Until a week after her 7th birthday, when she got so upset over the fact they couldn't go to the park due to rain. She didn't know how she had done it, but she had somehow thrown a vase from a shelf without touching it. It had shattered against a marble wall. After that, they knew she'd would someday be accepted to Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry.
