(Hi. Sorry for using ai. That won't happen again. But my English is sometimes weak, so I apologize for any mistakes. Google translator helped me.)
My life is divided into two. It always has been. And it would be even if I wasn't half a witch.
I was born to Jane and Peter Delline. To an "ordinary" woman who is a lawyer (and a really good one) and a magician who has his own small business repairing spells.
His spells were never anything unusual to me because I had lived with it all my life. He told my mother early on. before we got married.
My dad had always prepared me for both possibilities. That I could be like her (that's why he had already taught me some basics) or not.
Still, I always wanted those abilities a lot.
And here I come to a divided life. Thanks to a few friends and Critical Roll, I found a passion in a game called Dungeons and Dragons. I became a classic nerd who is into PC games and fantasy.
And I learned a lot there. And I taught my friends something.
When my dad taught me, I was most interested in herbs. The fact that you can make poison and an antidote that will cure you from that quiet and gentle plant. I often used some of the knowledge in our DnD and it became even more real.
Even though my dad (due to my enthusiasm for special abilities) was more likely to prepare me for the possibility that I would be a Muggle, so that I wouldn't be unnecessarily sad, my hope for magical power grew stronger and stronger.
And one day my wish came true.
It was before Christmas and like every year there were snow meringues in the candy. My favorite. And I never had enough of them. But my parents forbade me to have them in the evening, because of the sugar.
But I just couldn't resist. I snuck into the pantry and started to nibble. But then my dad came. I had the meringues in my hand behind my back. He asked me what I was doing here. And I, like every eight-year-old child, said nothing. Then... some magic made the meringues float up and hide back in the box.
I was so excited and surprised that I immediately confessed everything to my dad.
I have shoulder-length dark blond hair and gray eyes. Otherwise, I'm pretty average in appearance. Normal height (138 cm) and normal weight (36 kg). I like watching movies, playing games and discovering new nature. I hate nuts and dried fruits. It's just weird. One tastes like wood and the other like grandma from grapes.
I'm quite a person who likes to try things but never finishes much. Except for a few really big hobbies (like DnD). I try to protect my friends no matter what. Because I only have a few, but really good ones. Even though sometimes they make fun of me, because sometimes I don't recognize sarcasm. But what else are friends for if they don't tease.
I'm afraid they'll forget me when I'm at Hogwarts. And I'm annoyed that I can't tell them all the truth. The only one I've told (despite my parents' ban) is my best friend Maria who also comes from a family of magicians. She is a year younger and nothing has manifested itself in her yet.
But otherwise I'm really looking forward to it.
(Ps: I tried Ai detector myself and it still showed me some percentages even though I just wrote it all off the top of my head. I hope it'll be fine this time)
