Wren is relatively tall for an 11 year old but not abnormally so, and she has long dark hair, which she is very particular about how it looks, she has green eyes. She enjoys dying the underside of her hair bright colours, which normally her mum does for her but now that she is at hogwarts she will attempt to do herself, once she masters her magic. She loves doing her nails and always has fun designs on them, often different colours and patterns on each nail.
Wren is creative, expressive, and quietly confident. She takes pride in her appearance, not out of vanity, but because it’s one of her favourite ways to show who she is. She’s patient and meticulous when it comes to things she loves, such as her hair or nail designs, but can be stubbornly determined when she sets her mind on learning something new, especially magic. She is a very anxious person but tries to hide it by appearing unbothered, which others find it easy to fall for.
Wren grew up as a half-blood in a loving household with her witch mother and non-magical father, where magic was treated as a natural part of everyday life rather than something overwhelming. Wren shares an especially close bond with her younger sister, Lila, who has always been her closest friend and favourite person; she’s fiercely protective of her and often hides her own anxiety behind an unbothered exterior so Lila won’t worry.
Lila had finally agreed to let wren paint her nails when Wren was 7 and Lila was 3, and wren was determined to make them perfect for her sister, but she just couldn’t get them right, and eventually she let out a shout in frustration and next thing she knew all the lines straightened out and the polish seemed to smooth and it left her in awe of what happened. Lila didn’t seem to notice as she was distracted by the tv but her mum did and was happy for her daughter.
