Physical description: Charlotte has light blonde hair that reaches her shoulders. She is 139 cm tall with average weight. Her face is round-shaped, decorated with bright blue/green eyes (depends on the lighting), rosy lips en a few light freckles on the bridge of her nose. She has high cheekbones and blushes really easily. Charlottes hair is wavy and can be really frizzy after a day outside, so she always uses the necessary products like oil and haarmaskers to assure her hair stays smooth, because she is quite insecure about that. She is often found with wool sweaters, French braids, and blue jeans.

Mental Description: Charlotte is smart and very structured. She loves to make lists and schedules, because it gives her control over life. She pays great attention to people and always makes them feel seen, because she knows that it's not always easy if people don't listen to you. She is very book smart, but not very social smart. Because of that, she often finds herself in awkward situations, failing to understand what someone was meaning or trying te tell her. On the other hand, in class is she one of the first to understand links between the learning material. She gets stressed easily, but knows how to handle the stress without it becoming too much. She loves writing stories and is very creative.

Family Backstory: She is the eldest child and the only daughter in the Duarte-familie. She has a younger brother by two years: Thomas. They bond over homework because their ages lay closely together and both are good explainers and academicly smart. Thomas' birthday is August 23, 2016. Then we have Jasper, who is 5 years younger than Charlotte. His birthday is September 4, 2019. Him and Charlotte bond over their minds and ways of thinking. Both of them like their lives stuctured and sometimes Charlotte is like his second mother because her parents have busy lives. Her mother is Flavia Duarte. She is 35 years old and works at a pet shop as the owner. She is also a Muggle, making Charlotte a Half-Blood. She has a sister, Clementine, who visits often en is Charlottes closest aunt. Charlottes vader is Archie Duarte. He works at the Auror Office in the Ministry of Magic. He is quite a famous Auror die goed is in zijn werk. The home life is simple: Charlottes mother doesn't push her for good grades but does wants her to reach her full potential and not be lazy. Her father does want good grades but is not that pushy about them but can be pressuring. They both are very loving. Charlotte has a white female cat; she is named Marylin (Yes, after Marylin Monroe). Before the arrival of her Hogwarts-letter she went to a Muggle-school, so she has Muggle friends: Olivia Brent, who was her absolute best friend. Olivia doesn't know Charlotte is a witch because it's against the law to tell her. The two of them will probably grow apart after a while. Then there are Cherry and Lolly Andrews. They are twin sisters and pretty good friends of Charlottes, but they also have other friends. Her and Olivia only had each other. Charlotte makes friends quickly but likes to just have a few close friends. Her family is middle-class since her parents have a decent salary.

First appearance of Magic: When I was 8 years old, I walked downstairs for breakfast. I had been dying for my first magic and was scared I wasn't a witch at all. Jasper was only 3 years old back than and really liked to explore places he wasn't supposed to go. When I walked downstairs, the first thing I spotted was Jasper who fell backwards over our carpet. Behind him was the edge of a glass table. If he would fall back, the edge of the table would hit him in the back. My reflexes kicked in and I reached for him, a bit silly because I was at least 8 feet away, and purple sparks flew out of my hand and with my magic I had pushed back the table and Jasper fell down on the rug, unhurt. My parents were so delighted that they told practically everyone who had ears about this.
