Edward “Red” Hawks is your typical English boy, with blonde hair that is usually styled in soft, loose curls, an athletic body from playing football with his friends, a jawline that is gently defined and a straight nose with blue eyes that look like the ocean.
He stands at 4’6” which is small for his age, and during his free time, he can often be seen wearing a hoodie from his favourite artist “Coldplay” along with black jogging bottoms and a pair of white Nike Air Max’s
Mental Description:
While teachers back in his primary school would say he is one of the most intelligent kids they’ve taught, he often doubts his own abilities when faced with a challenge, thinking himself to be lesser than his peers.
He is friendly and respectful to everyone he comes across, that is until they’ve done something to either him or his friends, whom he can be pretty protective over. Despite this, friends can be pretty hard to come by for Edward, he likes to stick to himself and has a hard time expressing himself to someone he doesn’t already know, often preferring to stay quiet.
Biography:
Edward was born in Wiltshire, England on August 23rd, 2014 to an English Pureblood, Mikael Hawks, and a Scottish Muggle, Alicia Hawks. Since he was born he had been told stories by his father about their family’s history and the wizarding world but never truly believed it, and convinced himself that they were just bedtime tales.
When he was five they moved from their cottage in the countryside to the city of York, which took some time for Edward to adjust properly though behind their new house was a wooded area which made him feel like he was back in Wiltshire.
At the age of eight, Edward was playing in the woods when he accidentally used magic, which was when he finally believed his father about all the stories he told him and rushed to tell his parents of what happened. After that, he became more interested in the world of magic, constantly asking his father to tell him stories and it soon became something they bonded over, until he was 11-years-old and received the letter from Hogwarts.
First Instance of Magic:
His first instance of magic happened when he was eight, it was just like any other day for him, Edward was having fun in the woods behind his home in York as he had done a hundred times before, playing a knight of the realm as faced off against evil demons with his wooden stick, climbing over fallen logs with no concern for safety.
A branch snapped loose from one of the trees he bumped against, which he then flinched, closing his eyes and letting out a loud scream as he threw up his arms, though nothing happened. When he opened his eyes again, he noticed the branch hover in the air and drop gently beside him.
