Mason was born in Ireland to Maxwell and Andrea Surkley. His father was born in London, England, and his mother from Cork, Ireland. Mason is a small, thin boy with blue eyes, faint freckles, and glasses. Mason likes to change his hair color every so often with the help of his mother. Mason is happy, emotional, and cares about his friends just a little too much. He always tries to make jokes to lighten the mood, and has WAY too much fun when it comes to pranking people. Mason is very proud of his heritage, and knows that as a half-blood, it's his job to help bridge the gap between magic and muggle. He always makes sure that he has friends with him, because if he doesn't, he begins to feel very lonely. He has also always wanted to play quidditch, as he never could before, due to his current living situation. He wants to play for a house team, just like his mother did. His father very proud to have a wizard in the family, wants to make sure Mason gets his education, wherever he's going. Sadly though, Mason's mother recently died, leaving Mason

and his father alone, and Mason with no magical advice on what to do when he enters the wizarding world. Mason only knows of Hogwarts, Quidditch, and the four houses, especially his mothers: Hufflepuff. Now, he readies himself for the new magical realm.
