Physical Description: Alan is a steady 5'10, tall? Maybe, though he feels shorter compared to his mother and father, who both were 6 foot and higher. His hair is short, brown, and curly. He was blessed with clear skin, free from acne. However cursed with glasses, of what he'd needed to wear since he was four. Alan isn't sure what eye color he has, never has known. People have told him, green, hazel, and blue.

Mental Description: Since he was a young boy, Alan had an imagination. His mother telling his father that it's from all the books he had his nose stuck into. Giving him 'wild' ideas. Though he felt they were very normal, and should really be taken more seriously when he said dinosaurs defiantly still walked the earth. Because, well, isn't it obvious? How could they all just go -poof- like that?

This went on, and on, and on, Alan would go through his early education and early years talking to anyone that would listen. Telling them his theory's. Unicorns lived in the clouds, teachers stick gum under the desk to, the lunch meat is really blue jay's. Eventually his parents needed to take him out of school, he was scaring the other children.

Alan is talkative, and not shy at all. Social anxiety is scared of him. If told 'I double dog dare you to jump over that chair' he would do it before the 'for ten dollars' even left the others mouth. Impulsive. With this, some could call him annoying. But Alan had a charm, and a flair for story telling. Able to grab a crowds attention with his 'tomfoolery'.

He hasn't grown out of most of this, and likely never will.

He is either oblivious to other people not caring about what he does, as much as he does. Or he doesn't care. Alan has never made that clear to people.

Outside of his 'hobbie' Alan is quite kind, he will stop traffic to get a turtle to cross the road. Stay with animals that he cant help until they pass on. So they aren't alone he will say. He loves animals, all kinds of course. Most would think he only cares about the ones that can breathe fire. They would be wrong of course.

He is bold, and never shy to ask questions, he likes to push people to ask their own. Make them really think about what they're learning. He pushes people to come to their own conclusions and has a way of mostly asking open ended questions. This comes off as frustrating to the people that are impatient, and perhaps it is.

Alan constantly has a journal on his person, writing who knows what's in there. He keeps it very private, only a select few eyes have looked in it. His, only his. His journals are his most prized possessions. While he may be lenient if people feel they need to take school supplies from him, he will not tolerate anyone taking his journals.

Biography: He grew up in Detroit, but didn't spend much time there after being taken out of school. He was homeschooled for a while, taking trips often around America. His family tried to take him somewhere (normally a national park) once every two months. On one of these trips Alan swore he saw Bigfoot in the forest. In hindsight, it may have been a bear. We will never really know.

He didn't know many people his age before he went to Ilvermorny. But he was ok with that, honestly the only sad part was the fact he didn't have anyone new to tell his theory's to. But his parents made sure he was able to talk to experts in given fields, animal experts, history experts, etc. They were both highly sought after, his mother being a business manger, and father being a lawyer.

Alan's parents let Alan talk about things that couldn't be true, but constantly reminded him that this was all fantasy. Not real. They had all gotten a shock when he turned out to be a wizard. It had been a little hard on his parents, but Alan was quite literally, born ready.

Once at Ilvermorny, he made many friends, the older students, and the one's that weren't muggle-born like him. Enjoyed hearing what he had to say, and telling him what was a little right, and what was wrong. Because of course none of his theories had been 100% true. He had been placed in Thunderbird, and of course he had theories about that to.

He went through his years, relatively uneventful. He wasn't a stand out scholar, and not really an athlete in any way. Though he did enjoy partaking in a few unofficial games here and there. Once he graduated, it was no shock to anyone that he was a tracker. Trying to see if anything he thought was true. Most of it wasn't, there were a few things here or there. He spent three-four years as a tracker, then he spent some time as a teacher, doing a few odd jobs as side hustles. Eventually, somehow, he became Headmaster of his 'old stomping grounds'.

Ilvermorny, where he springs random questions on random students and staff in the halls.

First Instance of Magic: Alan had been six, on one of the many trips he and his parents went on. Sitting in a field of flowers. Digging in the dirt trying to find a gnome. (convinced they lived underground). When he saw something. Not a gnome, but a beetle. He was so transfixed with the bug that a rainbow appeared to come from it while Alan held it. He told his parents this, but they brushed it off as a trick of the light. And made him wash his hands. But Alan knew what he saw that day.
