Physical Description: Arthur is tall for his age, around 4’10”, with a skinny yet athletic build. He has curly light auburn brown hair, light brown eyes, and a beauty mark on his left cheekbone. He has lots of light freckles along his cheekbones and the bridge of his nose, as well as a few on his hands. His skin tone is tan due to the summer season ending, but gets lighter in winter. He wears glasses (he’s nearsighted) and his casual outfit is jeans and t-shirt with converse. He has a small scar on his bottom lip from falling out of a tree.

Mental Description: Arthur is a thinker, and has always been keen on problem-solving. He often likes to profile other people quickly, so first impressions mean a lot to him. Despite that, he’s quite the average 11- year old boy, with a calm sort of energy about him. He is willing to take a leadership role if needed, but would rather assess everything before taking action. He’s good with people, though can get mentally drained quickly. He likes to read (but it depends on the book), and has always been in love with animals. Overall, he’s a kind and observant boy who enjoys laughing with his friends as well as sipping tea by the fire. However, because of his father’s death he has been going about his days somberly, in his mourning.

Biography: Arthur was mainly raised by his muggle grandmother in Edinburgh, Scotland. His mother, a muggle, is always busy working in England and doesn’t have time for him, and his muggle father passed away from lung cancer shortly before Arthur’s 11th birthday. He grew up surrounded by his muggle cousins, unaware of his powers, and quite content. His best friend and cousin Alice Abernathy had always been by his side, so coming to Hogwarts without her has made him a little unsure. He lived in a townhouse with his grandmother, aunt and uncle, and shortly departed father for his entire life.

First Instance of Magic: Arthur’s first instance with magic was when he was eight, on a wet and cloudy day. He and his grandmother decided to visit the countryside with his father, who wasn’t so sick then, and enjoy the day despite all the rain. Walking along the edge of a creek on a narrow trail, he suddenly slipped, but before he could fall in the river a strong gust of wind pushed him back onto his feet, and he was safe. Unaware what magic was at the time, his grandmother was able to convince him it was luck.
