Rowan Valerievitch Komarov
***
Rowan is an eleven-year-old boy who is rather small for his age with a slim and slender build. His skin is very pale to the point of almost being sickly. His hair is naturally platinum blonde, almost white, slightly wavy, at shoulder-length, enough to frame his face. This is usually the first thing people noticed about him.
Rowan's eyes are ice blue, very pale, almost silver depending on the light; they have an unusual color that attract attention but also give the impression of looking through rather than at people. He has a soft face with a slightly pronounced jawline, straight nose, and full lips which led strangers to mistake his gender.
Rowan dresses simply, usually in black or navy blue

Rowan is a rather quiet and reserved boy. Like his father, he prefers the company of books to that of his peers. He does not trust easily, but once he feels comfortable, he is warm and cheerful, even a little exuberant. He hates conflict and always tries to avoid it. He is sensitive to criticism but knows how to question himself if he thinks he might be wrong. Despite his shyness, he can be surprisingly determined when something is important to him or when someone he loves is threatened. He is a conscientious and diligent worker. He finds strength in art and routines that reassure him.

Valery Alexandrovich Komarov grew up under the weight of responsibilities too heavy for his young age. As the eldest son of a very influential aristocratic family in the Russian wizarding world, he was destined from birth to take over the family business. However, as a teenager, Valery rebelled against the future that had been imposed on him. At the age of twenty, he decided to leave everything behind. He left his inheritance and responsibilities to his younger brother, who was better suited to take over the Komarov empire. He set off to travel the world. He continued to maintain a loving relationship with his brothers and mother, but cut off all contact with his father, who had not appreciated him running away. He eventually settled in London, where he realised his childhood dream of opening a library.
Scarlett Frost, on the other hand, was the embodiment of gentleness and softness. Born into an old English pure-blood family in Warwickshire, the youngest of four children, she grew up surrounded by love in the Kingsbury family manor. At Hogwarts, unlike her Ravenclaw family, she was sorted into Hufflepuff, where she was known for her empathy and kindness. After graduating, much to the dismay of her parents, who wanted her to marry and start a family, she pursued a career as a healer at St Mungo's and moved into a small flat in central London.
Scarlett and Valery met in Valery's library. The young woman stumbled upon the place by chance after a long day at the hospital. She wasn't looking for anything in particular, but Valery captivated her by talking about fantasy books and travel, all in English with a strong Russian accent, which she found charming nonetheless. She returned the next day, and then whenever her schedule allowed. What had begun as a simple exchange became a much more intimate and close relationship. They had a simple wedding, surrounded by their families and the people who loved them.

Rowan was born in London on the night of 12 December 2013 during a snowstorm that seemed to engulf the entire city. After a few months in the capital, the little family moved to Kingsbury Hall, the Frost family's ancestral home in Kingsbury, North Warwickshire. It was there that he grew up, loved and surrounded by his family.
His early years were relatively peaceful, occasionally interrupted by the Howlers of Valery's father. Rowan was a quiet child. From an early age, he showed a growing interest in books and drawing. He was often seen spending his time reading in the library or drawing in the manor's gardens, sketching the plants and animals on the estate.
When he was old enough, Rowan enrolled in the nearest preparatory magic school, a few kilometres from the manor. Rowan proved to be a diligent, studious and respectful pupil, but rather solitary. He participated little in class, answering only when questioned, but handed in impeccable written assignments.
His androgynous and delicate appearance earned him mixed reactions from his classmates. The girls adored him, braiding his hair while listening to the fantastic stories he told. The boys, on the other hand, hated him and let him know it. He soon became the target of their mockery and bullying.

Rowan was eight years old when his first magical manifestation occurred. It was in the evening, after school. The boys in his class had had the brilliant idea of chasing him with stones and insults.
Exhausted, Rowan took refuge at the top of the tallest tree in the village and waited.
Hours passed and night fell. Rowan was freezing and could no longer feel his hands, which eventually let go. Feeling himself falling into the void, he screamed and closed his eyes, expecting pain. But it never came. Instead, he floated slowly to the ground, where he landed gently, as if carried by the wind.
His parents, who had been searching for him, worried, arrived at the same moment and watched, helpless and amazed, as the scene unfolded before their eyes.
That evening, Rowan was treated to a nice hot bath and hot chocolate to help him recover from his ordeal.
