Althea Rose Grey was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on May 10th, 2014. her two loving parents Lincoln and Rose, were very present in her childhood and they have a very close relationship to each other. She has an older brother, Atticus, a Gryffindor who is in his 3rd year at Hogwarts. Atticus is very protective of Althea and she knows that if she needs anything at all during her time at the school, she can go to him.

Growing up, she always had a passion for herbology and magical creatures. When she was 6 years old, her family moved to the countryside just outside of edinburgh, into a cozy cottage on a small farm. She was always outside with the animals and helping to care for her mothers plants. Her first experience with magic was when she was 7. During a thunderstorm, she ran outside crying because she was worried that the plants would not survive the amount of rain. As she sat by them, a single tear fell onto one of the plants and caused vines to grow and weave together, shielding the flower. It was at this moment that her parents knew she was magical just like them.

Althea is a natural redhead (just like her mum), with green eyes and freckles scattered across her face. Her beauty is often described as soft and angelic. Her presence is very calm and both animals and people naturally are drawn to it. She always puts others before herself and keeps calm even when in the most stressful of situations.

Althea is extremely kind, loyal and empathetic which is why she is so valued by her loved ones. She is often seen at home sitting with the animals outside with her nose in a book. She also enjoys baking with her mum every sunday (although she doesn’t get to enjoy the treats as much as she would like due to her father and brother eating the treats before she can).

When she is older, she hopes to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a magizoologist and travel around the world helping creatures far and wide.
