Adam Davies was born the youngest child of 3 to muggle parents, Rose and Charlie Davies in Norwich, England on December 8th, 2007. His parents were well off, Rose being a city planner for the city of Norwich and Charlie working as a nurse. They raised Adam to be a happy, humorous child in contrast to his rebellious teenage older sister and studious eldest brother. Having a lot to live up to with his sibling’s consistently good grades, he slightly disappointed his parents in his marks in school, being a painfully average student. What he lacked in good grades, he made up for in personality and charisma. On his report cards, his teachers often mentioned that he was a joy to work with, if not a little distracting to the other students.

When he was ten years old, Adam and his family took a summer holiday to Scotland, to enjoy the scenic views on the windy hills. A few days into the trip, the family was admiring the view on the hillside despite it being a down, rainy day. Rose decided it would be a perfect opportunity to snap a picture of the big happy family all together, being that Adam’s elder brother had only come back from university for a few days. As the picture was taken, Adam was nudged by his father on accident, and slipped on the damp grass on the hillside. He fell to the edge of the rocky cliff, his family watched him in horror as his weight shifted backwards off the edge. Before he could fall, Adam completely froze in the air, suspended by invisible strings. He floated in silent awe and his mother pulled him away from the open air and into her arms.

A few months later, on Adam’s 11th birthday, when this event had faded to the back of his family’s consciousness, Adam received an owl from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry informing him of his enrollment.
