Physical Description: At 4'10'', Danaë carries herself with a brash confidence typically matched with one of much larger statue. Sharp cheekbones contrast with large, deep-set eyes, creating an altogether striking effect. Caramel tresses curl around her shoulders, complementing the sage green of her eyes. Warm, muted undertones.

Mental Description: Danaë may be described as the sort of presence which imposes upon others. Choosing to shun societal expectations of behaviour, she instead favours of her own internal personal values, amongst which comprise of authenticity, altruism, and a strong innate sense of justice. Her extreme vocalness when it comes to any issues which strike her as unfair, as well as general excessive intensity may cause many to see her as pushy or supercilious - which is unfortunate, as the girl finds it physically incapable of shying away from conflict. With a very strong sense of self, she holds a stubbornness that is hard to break past. The righteousness so deeply imbedded into her person makes it so any causes she chooses to affiliate herself with, she maintains an unwavering commitment toward.

By extension, Danaë is not afraid to face conflict heads-on - if she decides to dive into another person’s problems, she will remain deeply involved even should great obstacles arise, and push for her clear visions to be implemented. However, this trait of hers may not always be perceived as positive - at times, her over-meddling could lead to feelings of resentment or of being unfairly judged on the part of the receiver. She may also be quick to make sweeping and critical judgments, forming opinions that are difficult to change. Emotional and over sensitive at times, the most random things can set her off.

Aiming to maintain harmony as much she can, Danaë often tries to maintain harmony through finding common ground and putting people together. The thing is, she genuinely feels deep empathy for people, and her extreme altruism is not a font - she just tends to go overboard. Interpersonal relationships are some of the most important things to her, and just as most aspects of her life, she is passionate about it, almost to the point of annoyance.

Danaë is one of those people who can be classified as an adrenaline junkie. Invigorated by physical stimulation, she enjoys living in the moment, embracing impulsiveness as well as open-mindedness, and has a habit of never sticking with one thing for long. A negative facet of this trait of hers is that she is prone to putting things off, filing them into the basement and then forgetting about it altogether.

Biography: Originating from the small town of Ribe, Danaë hails from Danish roots. Her childhood was by all accounts, perfectly well and unremarkable - mother a forensic scientist and father a microbiologist, magic was nothing more than the most abstract and laughable concept. With three siblings total, the house was never quiet, and that was just how the family liked it. Since both their parents worked full-time, Danaë’s grandparents were a common presence around. It wasn’t that hard, since they all lived quite near.

First Instance of Magic: Though it was brushed off as nothing more than a farcical occurrence at the time, Danaë’s first instance of magic occurred at age six. It was a My Little Pony phase, and Danaë decided she absolutely had to own a pink cat. Luckily for their house pet Buttons, the notion was mercilessly shut down. Unluckily for Buttons, she woke up the next day, a lovely fuchsia shade. It disappeared after a few hours, and the event was brushed off as Buttons somehow getting into a vial of paint in the dead of night.
