Lapiz is a waif of a girl, standing at 4’7”. She has long, wavy blond hair and hazel eyes rimmed with long lashes. She’s often seen as weak due to her naturally thin body, but she makes up for it with wit and knowledge. She has a small, upturned button nose and full, rosey and pouty lips.
Lapiz is quiet until she gets to know you, and therefore has a small but strong friend group. She’s often seen with a book in her hands, as she is always hungry for more knowledge. Lapiz has a fascination with astronomy, and can be counted on to be seen stargazing on clear nights. She does not put up with bullies, and while not brave for herself, will be for those who cannot defend themselves. Sometimes she lets her mind wander, and gets lost in daydreams to the point she blocks out the world around her. She laughs easily with close friends and family, but isn’t a jokester herself- she’s a more serious minded type of person. She takes people at their word and has a hard time understanding sarcasm. She’s NOT gullible by any means, she just expects people to give the same level of honesty and respect that she does.
Lapiz’s family resides in a tiny village in Wales, Machynlleth, where her family line can be traced back for centuries. She’s a pure blooded witch, and her mother, Lysandra Croftsban, taught her everything she could. Her father, Devon Croftsban, works for the ministry of magic and is rarely home. Lapiz has a little brother, Erin, who is 8. She loves him dearly. She has a few friends who are a year younger than she, Reagen, Tilly, and Clara. These have been her best friends growing up and they are excited to join her at Hogwarts one day. She also has a beloved pet cat, Sasha, who is pure white with blue eyes. Lapiz hopes to have Sasha join her at Hogwarts.
Lapiz’s first instant of magic happened when she was around 7 years old. Her mother and she had gotten into an argument about the curriculum she was studying, and, in her anger, several objects in the study room began to float before crashing to the ground around them. Lapiz’s mother was overjoyed, but the event had startled her to the point she began crying.
