Physical Description: Poppy is a 4’6 scrawny girl who has fiery red hair and light freckles that covers her face. She has a very small frame for her age, and a small birthmark on the left side of her jaw. Outside of her Hogwarts uniform, she loves muggle street fashion and partaking in all and every trend.

Mental Description: Poppy is a bubbly and outgoing girl, who cracks jokes at any given opportunity. She’s very bright and intelligent, but she is very hard on herself when it comes to academics. She’s a perfectionist and always likes to be right, and has a very hard time taking accountability in situations when she knows that she’s wrong in. Poppy is very egotistical, but she is always supportive and loyal to her friends. She is very honest but sometimes her honesty can come off as rude or a little obnoxious. She’s very competitive and loves to win, but sometimes that can lead her into trouble as she comes off as controlling. She has a heart of gold and treats everybody with respect and kindness, but don’t take her kindness for a weakness- as she has no problem in telling someone her true feelings.

Biography: Poppy moved from America to England when she was 7, and has had a very hard time adjusting to her new life. Her parents are both muggles and doctors, so she was raised in an academia strict household. She’s very close to her mother, Lily Tate, but her father, Joel Tate, is distant and hasn’t taken a big part into her life. Her family is very all-work-no-play and has high expectations from her, but they were very shocked and pleased when she was admitted into Hogwarts. Poppy has an identical twin sister, Rosa Tate, however her twin has no magical abilities. Poppy has a muggle best friend, Andrea Sole, who she had met in primary school after her move. She has other acquaintances and many “school friends” but Andrea is her dearest friend who she will miss greatly while at Hogwarts.

First Instance of Magic: When Poppy turned 9, her and Rosa celebrated their 9th birthday at a butterfly conservatory. Poppy was a little jealous due to having to share her birthday, and felt that her twin was getting all the lime light on their special day. Poppy was so furious and filled with jealousy, the water bottle that Rosa was drinking exploded all over her face! Alongside that, the (now) shredded water bottle continued to float around Rosa and Poppy, creating a scene of chaos around them.
