Physical Description: A slightly off-putting girl with brown hair, shifting hazel eyes, and pale skin, freckles scattered across her nose and shoulders. At 11 years old, she's only barely reached a height of 142 centimeters (about 4'8"), and her weight is something her mother constantly fusses over, as she consistently remains 33 kilograms (approximately 73 lbs), despite maintaining a healthy diet. Her clothes often fit loosely around her frame, and she has minor scarring on her fingers from a few experiments gone wrong, along with gentle pink scars on her face like tear tracks only noticeable with a close look.
Mental Description: Typically, Luna-Katherine is quiet, keeping to herself and allowing others to enjoy the spotlight while she sticks to the shadows, where she's always felt more comfortable. She's passionate about potions, poisons, and all sorts of plants, with her greatest wish in life to be an apothecary like her mother. Despite her small stature and quiet voice, her words carry a lot of weight, with her intelligence when it comes to brewing making her a highly-prized study partner by plenty of Chemistry afficianados; however, due to her oddly stubborn and off-putting nature, she is also subjected to isolation from her peers (something she is COMPLETELY FINE WITH, despite her mother's insistence that she 'needs to make more friends'.) If someone were to want to find her for some reason, they would be most likely to find her around the greenhouses, wandering the grounds near the boundaries of the Forbidden Forest, or (somehow) brewing a potion in the Second Floor girl's restroom.
Biography: Luna-Katherine is the youngest daughter of Jude Wailey and the second youngest daughter of Nataly Wailey-Blair, the former of whom is a deep-sea diver and welder and the latter of whom is an apothecary. She has one older sister (Aisling), two older brothers (Logan and Finlay), and a younger sister (Alba). This younger sister is the unfortunate product of a s3xual assault on Nataly while Jude was at work. The pregnancy was realized too late, the birth was difficult, and Nataly resolved to not have any more children afterwards, something that Jude fully supported and did not blame his wife for in the slightest. Alba is still loved and cherished dearly by all of her siblings and has no idea of the circumstances of her birth.
Growing up, LK was not a fan of social interaction. She enjoyed science and mathematics, choosing to ignore artistic interpretations and other such things. She spent a lot of time helping her mother in her apothecary shop in the small village of Dallas, Scotland, and as such has developed a skill for chemistry, cooking, apothecary work, organization, and other such things, despite her young age. Her mother often relies on her and Finlay to assist her in her work, something the two take great pride in. LK is typically closest with Finlay.
First Instance of Magic: When she was a mere four years old, Luna-Katherine got in trouble at her mother's apothecary for playing around with a bottle of herbs. Shocked at being yelled at, she allowed for the herbs to slip out of her hands, and the glass shattered on the floor. The herbs instantly set on fire, for reasons they couldn't explain at the time but that are now attributed to an explosion of magic. Amidst the chaos, LK began to cry, and her tears were found to be acidic, burning gentle pink tear tracks into her soft skin.
