His wardrobe mainly consists of a collection of cozy, practical, and heavily worn pieces, wool sweaters—charity shop finds and hand-me-downs featuring mismatched items, washed-out corduroy and patches of embroidery. His bandages are a constant fixture due to his hesitation to use magical remedies. His skin is a canvas for countless freckles and small moles, splattered like paint. -Keegan had a habit of picking up bits of accents, and slang from the places where he and his father traveled especially after staying for a while, so his accent is a hodgepodge mess of different lowerclass dialects. His accent gets worse and he’s hardly understandable when he gets super excited or angry.
-he knows welsh but isnt fluent in it.
-He despises pureblood culture on principle, seeing it as pretentious and rooted in a power structure that abandoned his mother; he tends to not get along well with purebloods due to this.

Keegan was born to Devi Jameela Shamal, his mother, who came from a posh pureblood family in Exeter and Lev Cadwalader, a muggle who grew up dirt poor in Cardiff with an absent mother and abusive father. Devi was a rebellious teenager and while going to a bar with friends she saw Lev perform. Someone tried hitting on her and Lev came to her rescue. Devi was pregnant with Keegan in their teens. Devi’s family put a lot of pressure on her to uphold the family bloodline but after(in their words, tainting it) she decided to run away with Lev. The two lived a nice life in the early days, Lev doing gigs in different cities, the three were always traveling, Devi was able to pay for things with the money she took from her grandparents, Lev paid off most of his debts because of that. Devi mysteriously disappeared when Keegan was 6. Lev didn’t know she was a pureblood(much less a witch at all as she never told Lev she was from the wizarding world)

Lev couldn’t cope with the loss and started doing things to try and deal with being a single father and the mental toll of losing Devi, and slowly followed in his own abusive fathers footsteps,(ex. Drinking, neglecting Keegan, etc…)
During a gig, while Lev was distracted and Keegan was out in the alleyway kicking a ball, a man tried to assault Keegan. He was 8 almost 9 at the time and he sent the man flying across the alleyway accidentally killing the man. He came in crying to his dad so the two went on the run again. Keegan doesn’t trust magic after that, afraid he will hurt others if he uses it. The boy still has nightmares about it.

He is able to get out of any situation with his charming, charismatic, kind nature, and quick wit. Keegan tends to be a bit of a yob when you get him to open up about his past, using his anger and deflecting as a defence mechanism. He learned that being upfront, and slightly intimidating is safer than being a quiet target. He is quick to jump to the defence of an underdog, even if he doesn't know them. Keegan is kind at heart, and always trying his best, even though he is terrified of the thought that his magic will hurt the people around him.
