Physical Description: Willow has tangled, long, jet-black hair with blue eyes that seem to have faded to grey over the years. Her skin is light but not pale, and she is an exceedingly average height and weight.
Mental Description: Willow doesn’t really know her personality. Sometimes, she’s calm, patient, and thoughtful, sometimes emotional, intuitive, and introspective, and often distracted, impatient, and irritable. However, one thing’s for sure: she is curious, intelligent, and eager to learn. Oftentimes, however, she is insecure about her abilities and identity, constantly worrying about not being good enough. She appears quiet and introverted when you first talk to her, but once you get to know her, she is really talkative. She will often disappear for hours reading a novel, but despite her love for knowledge, she finds reading textbooks a bit hard on her withering attention span. Before arriving at Hogwarts, she did try a few spells, but none of them were particularly successful, much to her dismay.
Biography: Willow grew up in a Muggle family. Her parents, Aurelie and Pierre Laurent (both professors at a Muggle university) were kind and loving, though she wasn’t exactly spoiled. Her parents were immigrants from France (to England), but only ever taught Willow basic French phrases; however, this was enough for some communication. She had a good elementary education at the local public school, and she didn’t even think about magic until her first magical incident. She had two cats growing up, Eevee (named after the Pokémon) and Birch (named after the tree).
First Instance of Magic: At ten years old, Willow received her first failing mark in class. Frustrated and angry, she slammed down her test. The lights above flickered. One shattered. The wind blew louder and the sky clouded up. This instance of accidental magic did scare her, but it was later explained by the arrival of a representative of Hogwarts, explaining that Willow is a witch.
