Jamie is 4'7'', a little smaller than the average 11-year-old. His eyes are blue and he has short, dark blonde hair that sometimes is hard to keep in line and then sticks out in every direction.

Jamie was born a half blood. His mother, Alicia, is a witch. She attended Hogwarts herself and was a bright sudent. Now she works in magical research, discovering new ways to use magic. Thanks to her Jamie already knows a little about the magical world and looked forward to going to Hogwarts since he was a little kid.
Jamie's father, Harvey, is a muggle. When he found out his then fiancé was a witch, he had a little existencial crisis, but then accepted this whole new world he didn't know about and the fact that his children will be wizards and witches. He made sure Jamie went to an elementary school where he learnt all his basic academic skills and sometimes caused teacher-parent-meetings regarding his "wild imagination" when he talked about dragons or flying on a broomstick.
Jamie has three younger siblings. His sister Eliana is a year younger than him and his best friend. She is a little jealous, because Jamie gets to go to Hogwarts before her. Michael and Olliver are Jamie's little twin brothers, they are eight. They are identical and love to confuse people by switching places and even their parents sometimes have a hard time telling them apart, but Jamie and Eliana always know who is who.
The family has a cat called "Bubbles" and an owl called "Jupiter". Ever since Jamie can remember, his wish was it to have his own little owl to name and take care of.

Jamie is a kind kid. He has a few muggle friends from school and gymnastics, but also some wizard friends from france, where he sometimes visits his aunt Eliza with his family. He really enjoys physical activities, especially tumbling in gymnastics and swimming. The family often does trips together, they go hiking or climbing, or they take turns flying with their mother on her broom. Jamie also loves to learn new things. Even though he grew up knowing the magical world, he is still amazed every time his mother makes something fly or lets glowing rain pour down in the living room before bed time, and he can't wait to be able to do all that on his own.
Sometimes, when Jamie gets into a big new places with many new people, he can get a little quiet and carefully observes everything. But once he grows familiar with the setting, he can be very outgoing, loves to laugh a lot and to cause a little mischief from time to time.

Jamie's magic first surfaced, when he was five years old. He and his siblings were upset because they were told by their parents they couldn't have another piece of chocolate. They had placed the chocolate up on a cupboard, out of reach for the kids. When Jamie reached up in frustration as high as he could, the chocolate came flying right into his little hands. It was a very special day for the family, and Jamie was allowed to have all of the chocolate, which he shared with his younger siblings.
