Stephanie grew up with two younger siblings who are muggles, with her mother and father, who are also muggles. Her sister is a year and a half younger than her, and her brother 3 years younger than her. She has lived in the same house growing up, and is very excited to go to a boarding school and especially excited to learn magic. She has been abroad on holiday a lot growing up and loves exploring. Her family has a black cat called Salem. She is part Norwegian on her fathers side (about a quarter), and has visited there twice growing up.
Three months before her 11th birthday, the family was at a zoo, and were eating a picnic. Stephanie asked her brother to pass her the mini sausage rolls and he ignores her (he was rather distracted by the birds). She gets a bit frustrated after being ignored a second time so says it a bit louder and the sausage rolls are then in front of her. They had moved to her...but had not exactly been passed to her. Her parents were confused and skeptical at first (as some parents often are) and blamed it on the wind despite it being rather still in the air. When she got her letter, however, they seemed a bit more convinced and spent some time talking about it. It was a big decision after all, sending one child to a boarding school to learn magic, the whole idea seemed far fetched. But eventually they decided to go for it, and if it was a scam, then not really any harm done. They very quickly discovered it was not a scam however, when they entered Diagon Alley.
She has a basic primary school education as she went to a public school with her sister and brother. She is great at Mathematics and English and enjoys anything crafty. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, and is 4'10". She is funny and likes reading a lot as well and enjoys solving puzzles and jigsaws, sometimes with the help of her mum.
Her favourite colour is dark green. She enjoys watching older shows like Hetty Feather, Tracy Beaker, and My Babysitter's A Vampire. She also enjoys Scooby-Doo and cartoon films from Disney, Dreamworks and Pixar.
