Physical Description: Classically handsome and well-groomed beyond usual norms for most boys. Brown hair, honey brown eyes and golden tan skin tone. His facial composition is a mix of sharp angles and soft fullness. His eyebrows are full, prominent but shaped by light plucking. The lips are medium full yet sharp at the corners, giving him a cheeky look when he smiles. Likewise, his eyes are a sharp almond shape, yet there's nothing but soft warmth in his gaze when he looks at you. Unless he hates you, of course. There is a ingenue charm to his appearance.

Mental Description: Matisse is a lover of nature and animals. Back home he often spends time running or riding in nature. Maybe because he was born on Valentines day, he was often called a lover boy and that he would grow up to break many hearts. He was also commented on his looks a lot when he was younger and now he cares a little too much about his appearance. Strict training schedule and skin care routine. He knows he looks good but it’s not completely effortless. He works hard for it. The same work hard mentality is applied on everything he does, as long as it’s something he’s interested in. He can be quite witty and mentally sharp, and thinks simple minded people are boring and not worthy of his time. Believes in equality, but has some sort of god and saviors complex.

Biography: Matisse grew up on the family's vineyard in the outskirts of Marseille, where they grow grapes and manages wine production for their popular french, Montfort wine brand. He lives here with his younger brother Antoine, mom and dad, who act more as "your cool best friends" than strict parents. They have given Matti and Antoine more freedom than perhaps what is good for them long term. Matisse is handling the freedom fine by doing legal things he enjoys... but Antoine has already showed a streak for doing reckless things. Of course, Matisse gets into his own fair share of trouble, though mostly when it comes to the topic of amour.

Matisse comes from old money inherited by his great paternal grandmother who became a successful french actress. She ran away from home to pursue a muggle career and her very puristic parents disowned her. But it made her successful and she earned more money than she ever needed. Now the Montfort family get to live a very comfortable life thanks to her, and saving the money inherited in stocks, as well as from their luxurious wine brand. They are pretty open-minded about blood status, even if they don't understand what it's like being a muggle-born. The name Montfort comes from an old french aristocrat family and even though that means nothing to anyone else than their family history, they have a slightly ’better than thou” attitude.

Reducio
Late summer sunlight poured gold over the rolling terrain of the Montfort vineyards. Scented air was moved by a breeze that whispered through the grapevines, soft and conspiratorial. Matisse—barefoot, immaculate silk shirt, top button undone—stood in the tall grass at the rear of the stable, watching silently, horrified, as the kitten flailed in the bramble thicket.

The thorns were vicious; if he attempted to reach in, they'd rip his arms to shreds. The kitten, far too tiny to struggle free, emitted a pitiful squeak.

And then—abruptly, without warning—the brambles twitched. They pulled back away from the kitten, curling away as if shoved by an unseen hand. The little creature toppled free into the grass, staring but unharmed.

Matisse blinked, hands still raised, his heart accelerating. He looked around—the vineyard was empty, still. No one had reached through the thorns. No one had helped.

The kitten walked straight into his arms, where it started to purr. Matisse stroked a hand over its downy-soft fur and let a slow, knowing smile form. "Of course," he muttered. "It was high time."
