Physical Description: Katelyn is a young girl, standing at 4'9 ft in height. Fairly skinny and fair skin. She has long and slightly wavy red hair with bangs swept to the side. She has it usually tied back in a loose ponytail while some strands frame her face, and finally, she has big, bright green eyes.

Mental Description: Katelyn overall is a pretty happy and cheery girl. She wants to make friends and wants to know as much as she possibly can about the wizarding world since she never knew it even existed to begin with. She's utterly fascinated with everything to do with magic and just wants to learn everything she can get her hands on.

Biography: Katelyn was born in the bustling coastal city of Brighton to her witch mother, Juliette Magnolia, and Muggle father, Arthur Magnolia. Katelyn lived a Muggle life, going to primary school, playing on her PS5 when she was done with homework, and playing with friends. She'd go to the beach with her parents and run across the sand without a care, even if her parents always scolded her for getting sand in the car. She was liked enough by her peers; she wasn't a star student in the classroom, but she got good enough grades. Her life was average, it was simple; she liked that-until it wasn't so simple. It started when she was around 5. Her mother would constantly ask her if she had noticed any strange occurrences happening around her, things she couldn't explain. Katelyn didn't understand what her mother meant by it, and she didn't get why her mother kept pushing. But then, when she was 8, it finally happened, and everything made sense then. The fallout of her first instance of magic would forever leave an impact on her. She still remembers sitting in her room, listening to her parents argue for what felt like hours. She still remembers her father calling her and her mother freaks before hearing a bunch of doors slamming. Katelyn remembers peeking out of her room to see her father with a suitcase; he barely bothered to glance at her as he got into a taxi and drove away. Her mother sat her down that night and finally explained what she was, that she was a witch, and that there was a whole society of wizards and witches, and that magic does exist, and Katelyn herself was capable of using said magic. Her mother even proved it by levitating a book off the coffee table. This had left her relationship with her mother rocky at best and with her father completely ruined. She was more than happy to be accepted into Hogwarts so she could go somewhere to learn all this magic, as well as be away from her mother while she tried to figure out how to feel about her mother and the secrets she kept from her.

First Instance of Magic: Katelyn was playing a difficult game on her PS5, her parents watching fondly as she struggled to complete a difficult level in the game she was playing. After failing for the 5th time, in a fit of anger, she slammed her controller onto the floor, and suddenly, both the curtains on the window near them lit on fire out of nowhere, and the PS5, along with the TV in front of her, short-circuited and broke suddenly. This was what her mother was waiting for; she also knew this meant she couldn't hide what she and their daughter were. Her mother had Katelyn and her father leave the room while she cleaned up the mess. She had used the charm Aqua Eructo to put out the fire, and then used Reparo to fix the curtains, but sadly, she couldn't salvage the electronics.
