Physical Description:
At about 155cm, Edith has always placed among the taller of her peers. On the off chance that she finds herself slouching, she is very quick to correct her posture, making sure her back is straight and shoulders back. Her hair is on the mousy side of blonde that borders on light brown and she often wears it in ponytails or various up-dos, whatever feels the most appropriate for the occasion. Unfortunately for her, these are almost always the result of the hard work of her family's house-elf, so Edith's own proficiency in hairstyling is somewhat lacking. Under eyebrows that match her hair she has blue-grey eyes. As she grows older, they have been sinking in more and more - a fact which gets meticulously covered up for any functions her parents bring her to, no matter how barely noticeable it is at her young age. There is a noticeable gap between her front teeth that she is very self-conscious about, making her rarely show her teeth when smiling.
Mental Description:
Edith is a wild spirit contained carefully in the shell of a politician's daughter. While her parents would often jump at the opportunity to fulfil her wishes, certain expectations were held up, mainly those regarding Edith's behaviour. Every caution must be taken to maintain decorum. If a situation arises where one fails to contain themselves, such a misstep must be rectified. Edith has lived by these rules since she was a little girl.
However, there is only so far such mantras can carry you. Especially if you like the exaltation of discovering new things, of seizing control, of being in charge of your own choices. And Edith... Edith is just about bold enough to push the limits when her parents are not around.
She has spent far too many afternoons with colouring books in her father's office eavesdropping on his meetings. She may not hold the same relationship to the Sheridan reputation as her parents do, but if she has learnt anything from them thus far, it is that you have to fight for what you believe in and for what you want. There are, of course, rules that these kinds of things are governed by but hers are still developing and they are not always in accordance with her family.
Biography:
Both of Edith's parents are pure-bloods, making her a pure-blood as well. They live in London where Edith's father works at the Ministry of Magic. Her mother is a socialite and oversees the running of the household. Shaped strongly by her parents' social standing, Edith has spent her childhood in London and on various trips abroad. As far as she can remember, it has always been expected of her to be part of the family legacy and to uphold the Sheridan reputation. At her age, this mostly consisted in attending any and all functions with her parents. It did not take long for Edith to figure out that people listen to her one time mainly because of who she is and completely disregard her another time for the same exact reason.
Making friends in these conditions, therefore, never came easily to her. She played her part, ran off with the other children present at functions when allowed, but she rarely considered any of them her friends. They were merely all in the same boat, some enjoying it more, some less.
First Instance of Magic:
When Edith was 6 years old, her parents brought her to one of the functions they regularly attend, and at her young age, she was very quickly released to play around with a group of other children. It was a long evening but she was having a good time. Their whole group was running around, nicking food from trays, and exasperating every adult whose path they crossed. As the evening trudged on, their games grew wilder and wilder, until it happened. Locked in a loud game of hide and seek, Edith slipped into one of the rooms adjacent to the main ballroom and hid in a wardrobe there. She never expected anyone to find her there. Suddenly the door flew open at the hands of one of her friends, and she shrieked in absolute shock. The sounds itself was barely louder than stern speech, but that meant little to one of the mirrors in the room which immediately exploded into tiny pieces all over the floor. Needless to say, her parents kept her on a very tight leash at any functions from then on.

Thank you for checking with me regarding the multi-account suspicion. I posted in the Deleting/Deactivating Accounts thread on 13/7 and my other account was marked as deactivated on 22/7. I no longer have access to my old account.I have made further changes based off the recommendations sent to me. Do, please, get in touch should there be any more issues. Thank you in advance.
