When she was eight, She had tripped in the hallway of her family’s home, arms full of picture books, and began to fall face-first toward the marble floor. Her mother, a few steps behind, gasped and reached for her — but before Romancia could hit the ground, she stopped mid-air. Just… hung there, floating like a leaf on the wind, her books gently circling around her.
