Physical Description: Abby is a young girl with long brown hair and brown eyes.
Mental Description: Abby is a thoughtful introvert who loves to explore new ideas. She is a highly sensitive person who sometimes feels overwhelmed by the world. However, instead of shrinking away from the outside world, she finds creative ways to stay part of it. Her interest in inventing stems from a desire to be involved in a world that is sometimes too much for her. Crowds and loud individuals are outside of her comfort zone, but she thoroughly enjoys deep conversations with small groups of like-minded people.
She feels a kinship with felines and always learns so much from the cats who live at her house. Someone once told her that cats are actually aliens who have been sent here to spy on humans. She thinks they might be right.
Biography:
Abby is an only child who prefers a quiet lifestyle. At home, much of her time is spent reading in comfortable silence with her mother, father, and many cats or inventing useful things in her mother's workshop. Up until now, she has attended public school. She enjoyed art class (especially watercolor) but was disappointed not to learn more about the mysteries of the universe.
First Instance of Magic:
When Abby was 9 and a half years old, she was on a busy London road with her parents. When they went to cross the road, a car flew around the corner and almost hit them. Miraculously, the car swerved at the last moment and she and her parents were unscathed, although very rattled. The three of them were confused about what had happened because they all knew that there wasn't enough time or space for the car to swerve. They all went out for ice cream (well-deserved after the near miss) talking about this strange occurrence all the way to the ice cream shop. Abby had a feeling that something had happened--that she, somehow, may have been responsible for this. It was an intuitive, gut feeling. She couldn't explain it, but she had this inkling.
*I fixed the accidental magic paragraph--hope it fits the bill!*
