Physical Description:
Dakoda is about 4 feet 8 inches tall, and of average build. She has long, curly, thick brown hair with purple and blue highlights her mum helped her with. She has tan skin with olive undertones, brown eyes with honey-colored centers, and wears glasses. She usually braids her hair or puts it in a bun.
Mental Description:
Dakoda is a sweet girl who sometimes says mean things without the intention of being mean. She is very smart and has a high IQ. Her family has a history of mild mental health conditions, such as ADHD, bipolarism, and BPD. She herself has ADHD and dyslexia. This does not deter her love of reading and writing, however, because she is tenacious and ambitious. She is also loyal and tries her best to be wise.
Biography:
Dakoda grew up in central Wyoming, in a small town called Lander. At the age of 9 she moved to England, to another small town. Her father, Bruce, was originally from England and met her mother Julia on a work trip to the states. They agreed to live in the US until Dakoda was 9, and then move to England until she was 18 so she could attend her father's school, Hogwarts. Her mother was fully aware that her father was a wizard, but doesn't approve of Dakoda calling herself a witch. Instead, Julia wants her daughter to be known as a magister. Dakoda is an only child, and was public schooled until the pandemic hit. After that, her family prepared for the move to England and she was homeschooled until fourth grade in an advanced learning program. She is an only child and has no aunts, uncles, or cousins. Her grandparents are estranged and/or deceased. Dakoda grew up on stories of the brave students around Harry Potter, and Harry himself. She is looking forward to a chance to be just as awesome.
First Instance of Magic:
Dakoda's FIOM occurred when she was nind and a half. After the epidemic, her parents chose to work from home. Thus, she was often left alone in her room while her parents worked long days. She levitated books from places she couldn't reach. Her parents were too flustered to notice until Dakoda told them after her acceptance letter arrived.
