Physical Description: Taliesin is a rather average and unremarkable child in most ways; average build, average height. Her most eye catching trait is her mass of wild, red-gold curls; though she goes to lengths to keep them as well tamed as she possibly can. Taliesin has warm hazel eyes and a fair complexion; for all her love of the outdoors, she really doesn't get outside in the sun as much as she'd like.

Mental Description: Taliesin is an odd child, though one could not be sure if that is simply by nature, or due to having never spent very much time around other children. Whatever the answer, Taliesin has spent the majority of her childhood squashing whatever traits about herself conflicted with her Pureblood upbringing. Anything to just once be on the receiving end of her parents' approval.

Biography: Taliesin Annwyn spent the majority of her life running about the estate of her family's ancestorial home in Beaumaris, Wales. Despite being surrounded by the sea and woods that could set a young child's imagination alight, the girl was relatively isolated from other children her own age. Being the only daughter of a Pureblood family, there were certain expectations one must meet of history and decorum and other such nonsense that Taliesin often found herself falling short of; not for lack of trying.

Taliesin, through all her attempts to be the perfect Pureblood daughter, often found herself the subject of her parents' disappointed looks. When they were around to offer them. Her parents often would be gone for weeks at a time traveling about for business or other things deemed none of a child's business. As a result, the majority of Taliesin's raising was done by her Nanny and her Governess.

Ms. Morgan (affectionally known as Nanny) for all her sweetness, was a mother figure of sorts and provided Taliesin's main care and comfort. Madam Daaé, handled the girl's studies and deportment, and was far more shrewd, strict and fearsome; whatever Madam Daaé said was law, and more often than not even Ms. Morgan was shy to go against her.

First Instance of Magic: Taliesin's first instance of magic occurred when she was just barely four years old, still quite small. The family had just come home to Wales after finishing the Social Season in London. However, the child's parents had no plans to stay put for long after Nanny and their young daughter had settled back down at the estate. Taliesin had clung her her mother's dress, crying pleading and working herself into a full tantrum in an attempt to keep her parents with her. As a result, several old portraits required rehanging, along with the repair of several porcelain vases in the foyer. The scene bought the child an extra few minutes, and some rarely earned praise for it being her first display of magic; but ultimately, her parents still went on their way; leaving being an inconsolable toddler in the care of her Nanny.
