She has clear porcelain skin, with a slight blush to her cheeks- she has wide blue- green eyes she loves to use to stare at strangers. She is average hight with a graceful and swan like posture and movements owing to her decade of etiquette lessons. She is always dressed in soft pastels, silks and vintage frilly robes with the Highton-Smith-Jones swan family crest emblazoned on it.

Mental Description: Sophie is headstrong, but loves to be fantastical and imagine herself in fairy tales (not babbity rabbity of course), and loves books and studying. She always tries to get her way, to many a no avail and has an odd disposition that sets her from her peers. She befriends the best, abiet quitest, of society most of the time, and is as loyal as can be

Biography: The house of Thorne was a prominent ancient wizarding one, highly respected in France, however at first, they had humble beginnings. From the throes of Eastern Europe, one woman- Helena Thorne, who set off for a better life in the streets of Paris, far away from the witch hunts and lies of her old village. The Thorne’s were mistresses of a succession of French kings- too pretty to resist, too common to marry- stuck in a loop of being used but not fully wanted.Through all of this, Helena insisted on keeping her lineage full Veela- for beauty was a power to be used later on. One of Helena’s ancestors, a feisty girl by the name of Victoria, took her opportunity after the confusion of the French Revolution, and established herself as an upper class woman, setting up an estate from a couple decapitated by the french public's bloody thirsty revenge. Victoria expanded her wealth, and by the middle 20th century, they were regarded as reverged members of society, who were almost worshipped, but could never be had. Out of this Aphrodie Thorne rose, the talk of Paris at only 18. However Aphie did something utterly scandalous. For one she had gone to London, ALONE and fallen in love with a non Veela- Peter Highton-Smith-Jones. After her mothers refusal to allow Aphie to marry Peter, she ran away, and they got married in 1999 on his mothers estate. Aphie wasn’t entirely without snobby faults though, and her pride soared high as well as her strict handle on her expectations for her children. She never revealed her Veela lineage to her children- the constant stares she put down to good genetics. Sophie lived with this knowledge till age eight, when she and her older sibling began to do some digging on their mothers side, and upon revealing their connections to the Lestranges through some desperate Lestrange heir to their great, great Grandmam, and some records of hair being sold off when the estate was in trouble, they realised their lineage . Her sibling kept it from Sophie, but she overheard her older sister Missy arguing about it with her mother in the study. She confronted her mother and was given a letter from her maternal grandmother, a full blood Veela, and her most treasured possession- the family version in french of Beedle the Bard.

Born to a prominent ancient French wizarding family and English one, Sophie has an older sister that goes to Beubaxtons, and three grown up siblings, and lives in London, Kensington. Her parents are celebrated Aurors at their respective ministries, a role she is expected to withhold, and she has grown up a perfect little lady. She is attending the 24/25 class.

Missy (Melissa Highton Smith-Jones) – elegant and sharp, the closest sibling to Sophie being only a year older than her, she has expectations for her sister and herself, and strives to be worthy of her family name.

Edward – eldest brother, working in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and an Auror. He is the favourite to be the future Ministry of Magic, and is a rather good chump in Sophie’s opinion.

Julian – her more rebellious brother, rumored to have connections in Knockturn Alley, and to Mundungus Fletcher, but now somehow working in the French Ministry of Magic in the International Co-operation department.

Vivienne – the family zoologist, working with Nifflers and endangered Quilins, she is away most of the time, rescuing and releasing endangered animals, while juggling her N.E.W.Ts.

The family lives in an old manor in the countryside, passed down for generations, full of enchanted portraits and protective charms, while they are in France, and they live in a townhouse in Kensington and Chelsea for London affairs, which is relatively newer.
Her mother is of course of Veela lineage but her father is of an ancient wizarding family dating back to the Norman conquest, which Sophie is constantly reminded of. She was born on the 16th of March, 2013, in the Rose bedroom, and was fawned over as all her siblings had been before her. She was then handed over to a nanny and remained with a succession of nannies throughout her time before Hogwarts. Her father put his foot down with Sophie, and she was sent to Hogwarts instead of Beauxbatons as her mother wished.

First Instance of Magic: When Sophie was three, she escaped from her nanny, and started playing in an old farm house. She accidently set it alit and was rescued by her sister thankfully. Her nanny was duly dismissed and a Flame Freezing Charm on all fires on the estate.
