Physical Description: Nicholas is a white boy, with pale white skin and an assortment of small freckles peppered across his cheeks and down his shoulders. His eyes are bright and green, although his mother has always, without fail, claimed his eyes to be more blue like hers instead, she is wrong. His hair is black and straight, dark like the night and covering most of his forehead, always growing a bit too fast for his own liking and for his parent's liking, so he's always getting irritated about his hair accidentally covering his eyes every once in a while. He always had a thing for staring too intently at people, since the moment he opened his eyes for the very first time, his mother always told him he was staring too much.
His smile is soft, and he prefers to wear oversized clothes to cover his overall skinny body. He is about 150cm and 44kg.

Mental Description: Despite his overall awkward demeanor, Nicholas is very sweet and caring for those around him, which could be seen as a bit of an outliner since many would expect a boy with his background to be snobbish or even spoiled. He only wants to have fun with friends and to truly experience things for the first time. Especially since he never had the chance to meet many kids his age until arriving to Hogwarts.

Biography: Nicholas was born from Magdalene and Richard Lazarus, two pureblood wizards living in their calm and serene manor at Weaverham, England. Magdalene is a beautiful dancer who had done many shows around England and beyond, while Richard was a Stoic and quiet writer who specialized in writing books about the intricacies of magic objects. The family did well for themselves. When Nicholas was born, the house was decorated for his arrival with countless beautiful flowers, the flowers Magdalene loved the most, the primroses occupied every nook and cranny, a gift from his father despite his colder demeanor.
After that day, Magdalene always decorated his nursery room and the windows with primroses.

First Instance of Magic: It had been a while since his mother had participated on a dance recital, and Nicholas wasn't truly sure why. He was only 6 years old, but even he knew his mother wouldn't spend so long in the house, just sitting around silently, not singing, not dancing from place to place. His father had told him that his mom was going through a rough patch, and that they needed to be very delicate and caring towards her. The house felt cold and grey when his mom was sad, the primroses peppered across the house also seemed sad, many of them already withering away.

To try making his mother happier, Nicholas tried to water the plants himself, like she had done before with the old green watering can she kept on the top shelf in the living room. What a mess that was, he toppled a couple of the decorative flower pots from it trying to reach for it, and it was sheer luck he hadn't been hurt from the falling ceramics.

His mother alarmed rushed for Nicholas while he cried on the floor, when he explained his plan, just to make her happy, he saw his mother smile for the first time in weeks, hugging him tightly and thanking him for his efforts regardless. Then she gave a little gasp that startled him again, and when he asked, she told him that he didn't need to water the plants at all. Because he had made them bloom right then and there.
