hello, i’m cheryl ⋆˚꩜。
A few things you should know about me ╰┈➤ˎˊ˗
I have blonde hair and blue eyes, and I think of myself as loyal and witty. Sometimes I can get burnt out easily.

I grew up in a sleepy coastal village in a cottage that smelled like fresh parchment and seawater. My parents taught me to find joy in little things while living there, such as books, riddles, music, and art.
Ezra Bell, my father, loves books and works for the Ministry’s Department of Magical Transportation. My mother, Selwyn Bell, is a muggle-born herbologist who chose to study not only muggle plant science but also magical herbology. My grandma was a former Beauxbatons witch who moved to the UK in her youth. She used to have a spark for competitive dueling. My grandpa, on the other hand, loved reading me any book he could get his hands on, which made me fascinated with writing. He was a retired librarian at Hogwarts.
I grew up with a few close muggle friends who had no idea I was a witch. They grew distant once I went to Hogwarts, and I couldn’t contact them without risking the exposure of the wizarding world.

When I was eight, I came home from my muggle school, and I had completely messed up a presentation. I stuttered and my whole group was mad at me. My chest had that awful, tight feeling that meant tears were coming, but I didn’t want anyone to see. So, I went to the kitchen to make some tea. Mum always says tea helps. The moment I began reaching for the sugar, before I even touched it, CRACK. The bowl jerked out of the cupboard and smashed onto the floor. Mum and Dad froze. I didn’t say anything either. I just stood there, eyes wide, hands still mid-air. I wasn’t angry anymore; I was just surprised. Mum didn’t yell; she just came over slowly, crouched to my level, and said, “That was magic, love. Accidental. Are you okay, dear?” I nodded, despite my lips trembling. Dad said, “Well, that’s very Bell of her!” As he held up his wand.
