Physical Description: Julianna is on the tall side for her age, very nearly 4 feet, 11 inches tall. (She'll tell you she's that tall, but the doctors might disagree). She has long dark hair with bangs and wide brown eyes.

Mental Description: Julianna is primarily an athlete. From the age of five, she's played football and camogie. If she wasn't magical, she might've tried to go professional (and likely failed, considering the attrition rate). Her life pretty much revolves around sports, and she's fairly quiet outside of it. She enjoys a good book, but her favourite times will always be early morning runs through the fields outside the town where she grew up, while listening to music.

Biography: Julianna Hemingway was born to a fairly large family in Inistioge, Ireland. Despite being the child of a pureblood father, she grew up around mostly muggles due to the influence of her muggle mother. Due to that, while she is familiar with the concept and idea of magic and always accepted that she would attend Hogwarts one day, actual magic and magic being used for simple day to day things will shock and fascinate her when she attends Hogwarts.

While juggling her sports, she attended the local public school and made a few friends, if you could call them that, as they were more like acquaintances. Her best friend, and the girl she spent the most time with was Evangeline Hemingway, her cousin. Evangeline was born the same year as Julianna, and the two grew up close.

First Instance of Magic: Julianna had just turned seven, meaning that instead of playing with the five and six year olds, as she had the year before, she was now going to play football with the seven and eight year olds. Of course that meant she was going from being one of the older, bigger children to one of the smaller children. At the flipping of a season, she went from one of the better players to one of the worse ones, in a change that frustrated Julianna. Soon, inexplicable things started happening. The first, most notable one was during a game where Julianna had just been substituted out. Frustrated, Julianna stood on the sidelines and glared at the girl who had replaced her. Why did that girl, who sucked at the game, replace her, who undoubtedly had talent? Julianna clenched her fists, wishing the girl would be hit by the ball- not enough to be seriously hurt, just enough to remove her from the game. Barely thirty seconds later, the girl who replaced her, while not hit by the ball, mysteriously got a (minor) nose bleed. Though there was no danger to life or limb, any player who was bleeding was not allowed to continue playing, so Julianna was substituted back in, where she managed to score a goal before the game was over. It was only her mother that suspected that the nosebleed might have been Julianna's doing. The other parents remained fortunately quite clueless.
