Nayvee Reeves was born in St Mary's in London and grew up in the Paddington district. From a young age she has been aware of the magical existence. Her parents Courtney and Jake raised her and her sister Lynn very freely and let them be children for as long as possible in a city full of muggles. She did not live in a district where only witches and wizards lived. Her father did not want this for her and also thought it was important that she felt at home in the muggel world.
Nayvee has dark blond hair, just like her mother. She got her green eyes from her father. She usually wears her hair up. Every day she tries something different, but she never wears it down in public. She is not very tall and hopes that this will change with the years. She has a small pigtail on her arm, which she finds very ugly.
Nayvee is a very quiet girl by nature, but inside she is very busy. Her thoughts are always busy. She is very self-assured and will quickly connect with others with her smooth talk. Ultimately, she is only completely herself with people she really trusts. Gaining her trust takes time, but once you have it, you have a friend for life.
Nayvee's first introduction to magic was when she was 7 years old. Together with Toby, a friend of hers, she played in Hyde Park. Their parents were sitting on a bench a little further away. They thought it would be a good idea to feed their bread to the ducks, out of sight of their parents. Toby got a little too close to the edge and fell into the water. In the first few seconds Toby went under several times, Nayvee screamed. Something magical happened here. Before anyone came to help, Toby suddenly appeared to be able to stand in the part where he had fallen. It had become shallow and her friend could step out the water, bone dry. When the two checked the part of the water, it turned out to be deep again. Toby didn't understand it, but Nayvee knew it immediately. It was her sign that she was a witch. She kept this a secret until she was 10. Knowing that her father would punish her for not listening that day.
Because Nayvee grew up in the middle of the muggle world, she was a little less enthusiastic about the letter she received when she was 11. She was happy that she was finally allowed to practice magic the way her mother had told her and shown her, but that meant she had to leave her friends in London behind. Explaining to them that she was going to a boarding school somewhere in a location where there was no internet was the hardest thing she had to do.
Nayvee herself was just like her mother a huge mess and had to buy everything the day before Hogwarts. Her sister Lynn had helped her get everything ready that day. Nayvee and Lynn are very close to each other, did everything together. Several plans had been made to get Lynn to Hogwarts the same year as Nayvee, but unfortunately any form of success failed to materialize. There was nothing wrong with Nayvee's creativity. That's why her parents had been a little less concerned about her.
Nayvee would do this, she thought...
