Physical description:
Standing at 4' 6", Pyce is a hair short for their age. They have pale skin with freckles dotting their face, neck, and arms. Their firey orange hair, which was previously kept in a neat ponytail over their first year, has been cropped short and now just barely tickles the back of their neck. Pyce's eyes are a vibrant green, kept behind golden glasses.

They lost their last baby tooth over summer (a canine) and now one canine is sharper than the other.

Mental Description:
Being forced out of their comfort zone has done wonders for Pyce. While they still enjoy quiet, and may prefer spending more time reading than with people, Pyce has gotten more confident in themself and their interactions with others. This makes them a bit more of a nuisance than before, but they seem happier for it!

While Pyce doesn't take all that many risks, they do quite enjoy a rush of adrenaline. Lucky for everyone around them, they can get that by broom racing. They do, however, have a most irrational fear of any somewhat large bodies of water, spanning from deep-ish looking puddles to oceans.

Biography:
Born and raised in Ellesmere Port, Pyce lives with their twin brother, Hecate, and their mother, Donna. They don't know who their father is, and while they are curious, haven't really thought to ask. (The twins' father happens to be one Aiden Edgar, the muggle brother of Donna's best friend Henry)

Pyce is nonbinary and has been since they were eight years old, two years after they were introduced to it by a close family friend, Mori. Mori, a Slytherin now, helped Pyce out in numerous ways, and while they are closer to Hecate than his twin, the two still get along very well and Pyce often turns to them for advice (of a non-academic nature) first.

Despite being raised by a pureblood witch, Pyce takes great interest in muggle culture, something Donna encourages, as she wants her children to embrace both sides of their heritage. Pyce's honorary uncle Henry, a muggleborn, has played no small part in Pyce's interest or knowledge.

That's not to say Pyce hasn't had more interactions with magic. With two pureblood aunts who love to teach Pyce and Hecate about certain magical specialities, the twins have been taught many things before they ever even stepped foot in Hogwarts. Their aunt Lea, a potioneer, loves to talk about her job and even the most obscure parts of potion making, such as how the metal and size of a cauldron can effect a potion. Their aunt June, on the other hand, worked for the Ministry, and was even formerly an auror. The twins learned constantly of all sorts of things, like laws or the history of certain cities. Now, though, June is a professor at Hogwarts! Which means listening to her can contribute to their grades now.

Starting Hogwarts was all sorts of excitement (and disappointment) for Pyce. Being a nerdy, book loving kid, Pyce, and most close to them thought they'd be in Ravenclaw. Pyce had been looking forward to the sorting ceremony for years!

When the hat was finally on their head, those years of hoping were dashed. Pyce, a rather reserved child, was sorted into Gryffindor. It was a huge upset to Pyce.

It took a few months (and a somewhat impulsive signing up for the house broom racing team) for Pyce to feel comfortable in their own house. But now, they are very excited to go back to Hogwarts and truly enjoy being a Gryffindor!

Pyce is an avid nerd of all things dragon, something that netted them a friendship with their now-best friend Stella Drake. Stella has since moved to Canada for reasons Pyce never figured out, but the two still write to each other frequently.

First Instance of Magic: When the twins were four, they got into an argument over muggle vs wizard fairytales. Hecate was upset because muggle fairytales were so inaccurate while Pyce argued that it was "part of the magic." During the argument, Hecate had his first instance of magic, accidentally setting Pyce's scarf on fire. Pyce, wearing a burning scarf, wasn't exactly willing to burn their hands, even though their neck was getting burned. Or so it appeared. After a moment of being unharmed by the flames, and with the rest of their clothes seemingly flame resistant, Pyce removed their scarf. They kept holding it until it was nothing but ash. Upon which the twins excitedly ran to their mother to tell her about what transpired

Extra Notes: Pyce, despite being non-binary, actually prefers masculine words when being talked about. (Ex: Nephew, brother, etc.) Not only are they more familiar with these words, they just like them as well.
