Physical Description: Asara is short (4'4/132cm) and chubby with baby fat in a cute and cuddly manner, the local grandmothers fondly calling her a teddy-bear. She has a round face, lightly tanned skin with freckles all over, light grey eyes and a wild bob of curly red hair down to her chin, often poofing up like a summer dandelion.

She likes both pants and dresses, but not skirts, and especially loves clothes with patterns on them. She often wears brown clothes while playing (a decision on her parents part to minimise the clean-up), but loves wearing greens, blues and yellows. You won't catch her dead in pinks, reds or oranges, not because of a dislike of the colours, but because matched with her hair, they make her look like fairy floss or a big strawberry. She often wears fluffy scrunchies, stick on earrings and cute nail polish.

Mental Description: Asara is an energetic little thing who lives in nature. She's bright and optimistic and sometimes a little cheeky. She behaves wildly, running about and making messes all day, but not without thought. She listens well to her lessons because if she knows enough to be safe she knows enough to play as she pleases without her parents using safety to rein her in.

Her parents sent her to learn piano in an attempt to calm her to some limited success, and were grateful she took to it so well. She loves jives and jazzy pub tunes but her favourite composer is Camille Saint-Saëns. She likes trying to play cartoon songs on the piano for the little ones. She'll miss the piano dearly if she can't find one at Hogwarts.

Her room is an organised mess. She has a tendency towards hoarding sweets and stashing wild trinkets around the place. She likes decorating with plants and a variety of fun and pretty trinkets. Her room isn't considered complete until she has something to comfy hug or curl up in, has at least one plant, has a few trinkets and at least one prism sun catcher hanging somewhere.

She's an extrovert who loves helping people but she's just as happy playing on her own in the wild. She's calmest while reading, when bathing in scented/herbed water or when fishing or camping with a friend. Her favourite games are hungry hungry hippo, muggle playing card games and gobstones. She's not one for chess.

Biography: Asara was born in Dublin, Ireland, her mother's (Ciara) own birthplace. Her maternal family lived there since her great-grandmother, Niamh, moved there from Ballyforan to enjoy the city life. Her parents met when her father, Callum, visited from Durness, Scotland, to tour the Guinness Brewery. When Asara was 5 they moved to Carbost, Scotland, so her mother could work at the Talisker Brewery.

Callum is a pure-blooded wizard who manages magical water ecosystems, mainly lakes and bogs. Ciara is a squib born of two half-bloods, her maternal magical lineage starting from her muggleborn grandmother. Ciara is a few months pregnant with a surprise child. They don't know the childs' sex yet but Asara is hoping for a little brother, she wants to name him Camille.

Asara grew up attached to water, playing in lakes, creeks, and the ocean. If she wasn't in the water she was rolling down hills as fast as she could. Callum liked to call her 'my Each-Uisge wean' because she was always turning up a muddy mess. Her mother, Ciara, leaves her bathing to Callum because she's too grubby for her muggle methods. Ciara likes to call her 'my Caisearbhán' (my dandelion), when she's neat and tidy, but usually calls her 'wee goblin' for her messy appearance, wild behaviour and hoarding habits.

She has a muggle friend, Eilidh, who she met at piano lessons in the community pub. They often go fishing and camping together with their fathers. Eilidh knows about magic because of her muggleborn Auntie, Olivia, and has sworn Asara to writing her. Eilidh wants to take over the Glenbrittle Campsite when she's older.

Asara lives in a 4 bedroom cottage home near the loch. There's an extensive yard with a food garden and a hidden magical garden maintained by the family. The magical garden has a pond with little water sprites and her mother is secretly brewing gin in the muggle shed. The front of the house leads to the loch where they leave their family boat and a couple canoes.

First Instance of Magic: The first time Asara used magic was when she was 3. Her parents tried to make her dress up for a community event and she hated the scratchy clothes so much she wailed so loudly her grandmothers glasses broke. Thankfully no one was seriously injured.
