Physical Features
Thea stands at a solid 5'0 and had shoulder length blonde hair. She has hazel eyes (greener on the outside and browner on the inside). She has a light dusting of freckles across her straight nose. She has a slender athletic build. Sher has a tendency to wear fun-dangly earrings.
Personality
Thea is cheerful and optimistic though in a chill way. She is very loyal to her friends and is willing to take risks and put herself in uncomfortable positions for the sake of friendship. She loves the outdoors and beasts and you can frequently find her enjoying a muggle fantasy book in the court yard.
Background
Thea's family is originally from the States and moved to Reading just last year and just in time for her to be accepted into Hogwarts. She is an only child to two magic parents, both of whom had no-maj parents (meaning Thea has muggle grandparents!). On her moms side she has three muggle aunts and uncles and one magical uncle. On her fathers side she has two muggle aunts. Most of her cousins are muggles but her uncle and his husband have three adopted magical children. For reasons unknown to Thea, her parents have lived as muggles her whole life and currently work for Reading University as professors.
First Instance of Magic
Thea's first instance of magic was when she was 9 years old. Her cousins had already had their first instance of magic and she was becoming increasingly worried that she might be a squib. Her parents had taken her on a summer trip (really they were there to get acquainted with their respective academic departments at the University of Reading and house hunting but that's all very boring for a nine-year-old) with her magical uncles and their magical children (all of which were on summer break from Ilvermorny). Her and her cousins were all sharing a hotel room together while the parents had their own respective hotel rooms sandwiching the children. One afternoon, Thea and her cousins were playing hide and seek at a park near their hotel. Thea was not good at hide and seek and was always the seeker. Feeling distraught by the fact that she was alone in a strange place and couldn't find her cousins she sat on a bench and cried. As she cried the once sunny day became gloomy and stormy, fat rain drops accosting her jacket. Surprised by the change in weather, Thea stopped crying and pulled her hood over her head and looked for cover only to realize that when she stopped crying so did the sky.
