Mental Description: Marquise is smart, and ambitious with a desire to prove himself better than his parents, and lead his family to more glory. He often panics in situations where he isn't in complete control, or against unexpected things and thrives in moments when he can put his power to use.

Biography: Marquise's life before hogwarts was characterized by his own self discipline, from the moment he watched his father expertly talk his way into, an enormous trade deal, he knew what he wanted. Influence, the kind that could bring multimillion galleon companies to their knees with just a few words. He wanted the power to back it up as well. Since he couldn't practice magic directly he poured over spellbooks. hours and hours spent on practicing wand movements with sticks he could find. Begging for his mother to take him to watch professional duellists. Obssessed with their skill and technique. He didn't care much for things muggle related, believing them to be unimportant. He did his best to keep a workout schedule, giving himself stamina. He was an exemplary student which earned him little to no friends, during tutoring sessions. Something that stung more than he cared to admit

First Instance of Magic: It was the bright morning, as Marquise was wandering the grounds of his family's estate. They were in Wales for the summer and he was doing this as a referesher after a morning jog, finishing with a walk. Marquise was 6 years old, he didn't have to be there to notice his parent's quiet concerns about his magical capabilities but no matter how hard he'd tried he'd had little luck. Frustration boiled within him, whenever the topic was brought up. He hated it, he hated going to tutoring sessions and hearing the other kids boast about how they'd set fire to a whole library, or made a dragon cry. His mother had assured him that those kids were likely exaggerating but it didn't quite register in his mind. He hadn't noticed, that behind him a path of thorny blue roses had been growing. His jaw dropped he screamed out
"Magic! I did magic!" He yelled, his voice carrying across the gardens. His mother arrived fast and was delighted. His father scooped him up into the air.
