4"4. Big dark brown eyes, big lips and a pointed chin. Light brown skin and long black wavy hair going til the knees. Big front teeth and slight overbite. 5 piercings in the right ear and 2 in the left adorned with gold jewellery. Nails painted with little flowers on them. A couple simple gold bracelets, one gold ring sat on my left hands middle finger and a gold necklace with a topaz on it.
I have generally quiet deposition and avoid eye contact with those who I've just met. With those I'm comfortable with, I'm more bright and willing to joke around. I have sarcastic and dry humour and have trouble taking anything seriously. People say I can come across as standoffish but I think that's mainly due to my shyness. I'm good listener but have proven to be inept at comforting others. I have trouble opening up and often feel numb to my emotions. I have a monotone voice and realistic approach to most things, I refuse to sugarcoat. I'm an ISTP. I have been taught to have good posture and speak eloquently, I can speak five languages due to my mixed heritage. I'm book smart and enjoy learning anything new. I like spicy and salty food and I like gossip though I hate being involved in drama myself. I dislike when people cut me off while speaking and people who cant own up to their mistakes. I tend to hold grudges against people. My hobbies mainly consist of reading books and occasionally playing the violin. I enjoy doing muggle art but I'm quite poor at it. I'm secretly a hopeless romantic.
I grew up in Orion Alley, a little magical street in Galway, Ireland. I'm a half blood with a Pureblood mother Seraphina Dreary and a muggle born father Jasper Dreary, my parents were both Ravenclaws. My older sister Aria, is currently training to be a healer. My mother is an alchemist and her work takes her all around the globe. She's away alot of the time but occasionally she'll bring me along with her. I've seen a wide array of magical places, creatures and people thanks to her. My father works in Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic though I don't think he enjoys it very much. He complains about the tedious long hours and sometimes voices his discontent with Ministry policies. I think he envies the freedom my mother's work brings her. My father has taught me about the muggle world and all around our house there are muggle books, paintings (that don't even move!) and music. However, I still think there's alot I dont know, my father doesn't like new muggle technologies like "smartphones" and "video games" he reckons they're not good for a young kid and insists I stick to his old Vinyl players. I don't mind much as I quite like his selection of 80s rock. I play a muggle instrument the "violin" because my muggle grandma played it when she was my age and insisted I do the same. I was taught to read and write by Miss Rowan Knighting a private tutor who teaches many of the kids in Orion Alley. I'm friends with alot of my neighbours though most of them are older than me and already go to Hogwarts so I only see them in the summer holidays. I can't wait to finally join them at Hogwarts I've been dreaming of it for so long!
My first instance of magic happened when I was 6 years old when I was visiting my auntie Sky, my father's older sister. Me and my cousin Rory had gone off to the playground near their house and were swinging about having competitions amongst ourselves. I dared Rory to go dangle on the monkey bars which were very tall and meant for big kids for 10 seconds. Rory climbed the ladder and grabbed onto them and it was only then did I realise that they were dangerously high for Rory who was only 5. Before I could tell her to get down she jumped and grabbed onto a bar but couldn't hold on and went falling down. I screamed and tried to reach her but was too far, however when I looked she was on a mattress that was placed underneath her that wasn't there before. My father and my auntie hearing the commotion had come to check on us as well as the other people in the park who looked very confused. My father understood what had happened immediately and my auntie took me and Rory inside whilst he did a memory charm on the muggles there. Afterwards he told me what happened and sent an owl to my mother who was in Romania at the time. I was ecstatic about it as I had been dreading being a squib ever since I had learned what it was.
