Physical Description:
Standing at 150cm tall, Jaemin is fairly average height for his age. He has a rectangular shaped face and brown eyes. Like his mother, he has naturally dark chocolate brown hair that is cut short with bangs that are parted down the middle and swept to each side. Jaemin has two tiny moles on the left side of his face, one close to his nose and the other on his upper cheek by his eye. When he smiles widely he has very defined smile lines. He switches back and forth between wearing his glasses and contact lenses.
Mental Description:
Jaemin is a quieter type, he tends to stick to himself. However, when he is around his friends or family he opens up more and is much more talkative. He loves to joke around and can be sarcastic a lot with his friends. Being that he spends a lot of time by himself, he loves to sit and enjoy a good book or grab some paper and draw. He tends to be a perfectionist and is very intelligent.
Biography:
Prior to coming to Hogwarts, Jaemin was attending an elementary school in London where his teachers said that he was a bright, kind student. At home, he is the oldest child and has a younger sister, Mina, who is 8 years old. His father, Hyunsoo, works as a Magizoologist while his mother, Somin, who is a muggle works as a teacher in a high school. The family also has a pet cat, Pepper, who is grey with black stripes.
First Instance of Magic:
When Jaemin was 8 he was sitting with his sister in their living room, Jaemin drawing and Mina playing with toys. Mina went over to Jaemin and wanted to play with him, offering him one of her dolls. He refused her a couple times but she kept being persistent of wanting to play with her big brother. Annoyed by the constant pestering, he yelled at her to leave him alone and her dolls went flying back, hitting the wall loudly. His parents came in to find him hugging Mina, trying to apologize as she was crying and he tried to explain to them what happened. After sitting down together with his parents, Jaemin learned that he was in fact a wizard.
