Bright blue hair, sapphire eyes. Hydrus prefers to wear a black hoodie with Jeans. Despite being only eleven years old, Hydrus is sort of a flirt. Hydrus has pale skin and sees things differently than others. Hydrus and see auras of people and these normally tell him what their personality is like. People with a grey aura are generally unpleasant. People with bright auras are normally nice people. Hydrus himself glows a bright blue and dyed his hair accordingly. However, auras do not always show how a person acts.

Hydrus has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and was teased by other kids because of that. He doesn't currently have any friends. . .

Hydrus bounced from foster homes in the muggle world after his parents died in a car crash at age 4. He currently is homeschooled by Mrs. Whitlock and her husband.

At the age of 6 Hydrus was learning to write on his own but kept messing up. Frustrated a nearby vase burst into bubbles. He was living with a family of devoted Christians at the time and they felt he had done witchcraft (which he had) and felt that this meant he should be burned at the stake. He overheard them discussing this and ran away where he was found by the Child Protective Services, which gave him to the Whitlock's who gave him a new home. They have loved him as their own ever since.
