Mental Description:ReducioGrowing up with both working parents and a nanny, has lead Denise to a sense of independence, especially since the nanny is not very attentive and has seemingly formed a relatively mediocre bond with Denise since she was a baby. This has fostered her as a not so well adjusted individual who is often used to navigating her own emotions and resolving minor conflicts independently. The nanny has been of no influence, enabling Denise to grow up feeling isolated and not so overly reliant on others.
Being an only child created moments of isolation for Denise, especially since both of her parents were always busy. Denise at this rate has become accustomed to spending time alone, which has resulted in a strong sense of self-reliance or a need for imaginative outlets. Sometimes her parents or nanny are emotionally distant, which has manifested in her a longing for attention and affection.
As a half-blood, Denise is exposed to both magical and Muggle worlds. With working parents who are busy in their magical careers most of the time, she has developed a deep intellectual curiosity to fill her leisure time and broaden her understanding of both the worlds equally. This has also lead her to a thirst for knowledge and an early interest in magical studies.

Biography:ReducioDenise is a proud half-blood witch with a rich blend of magical and Muggle heritage. Her father, Edwin Garcia, is a successful Muggle lawyer, known for his sharp mind and pragmatic approach to life. He is 39 years old. Despite his lack of magical abilities, Edwin understands the basis of the wizarding world, and fully supports Denise's future magical education. He’s often busy with work, traveling for high-profile cases, but tries his best to make time to offer Denise some useful advices and listen to her when she needs proper guidance with her experiences in daily life.
Her mother, Loretta Garcia (formerly known as Loretta Scott), is a talented witch and a respected figure within the wizarding community. She is 36 years old. Loretta is an archivist, working at the Ministry of Magic. She specializes in magical artifacts. Her work requires her to travel frequently, meeting with other magical institutions and maintaining records that protect the magical world’s renowned history. Though she is often absorbed in her work tirelessly, she deeply cares about Denise's life and most of the time makes sure to be present with Denise in family gatherings so that she doesn't feel conflicted or isolated within herself. One of the many reasons to make appearances in family gatherings is because Loretta wants to show everyone how a child can still be raised without the parents quitting either of their jobs.
Despite Denise's parents busy careers and theoretical believes, both of them value family time and ensure that most of the weekends are reserved for them if there is no emergency situation in their work. Denise always enjoys cozy dinners with her family as it only happens once in a week. Her mother often tells her stories of the outside wizarding world such as the Diagon Alley and the infamous Knockturn Alley while her father jokes around with them in his dry, witty manner. Though her parents are generally emotionally close, they sometimes get disconnected due to their demanding careers.
Denise also has an older brother, Mike Garcia, who is currently attending Durmstrang Institute, a school known for its ever-so stern approach to wizardry. He is 7 years younger than Denise. Though Mike might seem distant and serious on his first encounter with anyone, he shares a close bond with Denise, often sending her letters filled with advice and stories from his own magical journey, preparing Denise for hers as well. Densie has always wondered why her parents didn't send Mike to Hogwarts when Denise was supposed to attend it. The fact being said, her mother explained that during the starting careers of her parents, they couldn't afford hiring a nanny and had to keep Mike at his grandparent's house which is situated outside UK. That being said, he experienced his first instance of magic outside of UK and his name was not registered in the Hogwarts book of admittance which eventually lead them to admit him into Durmstrang.
Denise's childhood home is a large, cozy townhouse located in a quiet neighborhood in Great Yarmouth, England. The house is a blend of both Muggle and magical influences. There are rare magical artifacts displayed alongside modern, Muggle furnitures. The house is filled with educational books or novels and magical plants that Denise’s mother (or sometimes her nanny) tends to. The library consists of both magical and non-magical texts. Denise’s has a personal room which reflects upon her dual heritage: on one wall, she has a large bookshelf of Muggle novels, while on the other side, she has enchanted objects and magical trinkets she’s collected over the years.
While her parents are often away, her home is never truly empty. Her parents employed a trusted nanny, Mrs. Ortega, a clear hearted woman who’s taken care of Denise since she was a baby. Mrs. Ortega is a pure-blood witch and is a valuable resource when Denise needs help with homework or just someone to confide in. Mrs. Ortega didn't show much cooperation at first but is always with her during her hard times and it confuses Denise about what Mrs. Ortega's true intentions are but personally she has adapted to her nanny's ironic behaviour.
Denise’s circle of friends is not so diverse, it consists of her cousins as of now, many of whom also have ties to the wizarding world. She doesn't have any Muggle friends as Loretta considers it dangerous for Denise to be close to Muggles at such a small age. Her closest friends include her cousins—the Nolan family—who live nearby, just down the lane, third block from the left. Her cousin, Phyllis Nolan, is just a year older than Denise and shares a deep bond with her, often acting as a trustworthy mentor in the absence of Denise's parents. Phyllis is known for her cleverness and ability to solve problems, and she is often happy to help Densie when she struggles with her basic magical education necessary before the enrollment in any magical institute. Phyllis’s younger brother, Richard Nolan, is mischievous in nature but loyal at all circumstances. He adds fun and excitement to Denise’s mundane life with his pranks and adventurous tales (most of them turned out to be fake but they were interesting to listen to for Denise and Phyllis).
Despite the Garcia family’s busy and sometimes complicated life, Denise has learnt to embrace both her magical and Muggle sides, finding strength in her dual heritage. The support of her family, cousins, and the ever-present Mrs. Ortega allows her to navigate the challenges of being a half-blood witch with resilience and grace.

First Instance of Magic:ReducioOne day, on a warm afternoon, when Denise was 8 years old, she was playing outside in the backyard with her favorite toy—a small wooden toy airplane she received from Edwin on her 7th birthday. She enjoys flying it around manually, imagining adventures in the skies she will experience once she boards an airplane with muggle passengers, unaware that among them is the presence of a witch. But today, she was struggling to make it fly steadily as her mood was down and not that energetic to imagine. Frustrated and upset that nothing seems to work her way, she stormed off into a quiet corner of the backyard where there were a few rows of old and tall growing hedges.
She sat down on the ground, feeling increasingly miserable. The toy airplane laid motionless in front of her as Denise fumes about her parents' absence. She wanted to show them her collection of magical artifacts, her diverse range of novels from Muggle world, her getting excellent grades and praises from nanny while doing her basic magical education. She wished that if something exciting or something magical were to happen, will her parents appear in front of her? She wanted to brighten up and not stay sullen... she wanted some magic to come and help her out of it. As she was lost in pointless thoughts, she absentmindedly kicked the ground in frustration over her fate, but as she did so, something odd happened: the earth beneath her foot shifted, and the toy airplane which lay beside her a few seconds ago had suddenly leaped into the air, soaring several feet above before gently landing again beside her.
Denise stared at the airplane, her eyes wide with disbelief. She tried to replicate the action again, kicking the ground harder this time, however the miracle didn't repeat. Before she could fully grasp what was happening at that instance, her nanny arrived at the garden’s edge looking flustered at not being able to find Denise for half an hour and scolded her for being so careless and also for dirtying her new skirt.
At first, Denise was too stunned to say anything, completely ignoring the scolding and angry mumbling of her nanny. She didn’t mention the occurrence of supposedly something magical to Mrs. Ortega, unsure of what she just experienced. Was it really her hallucinations taking toil on a warm drowsy afternoon or is something really different about her?
