Nia is very outgoing and extraverted, and she loves talking to new people. She has been raised with very strong morals and so Nia believes that you should always be honest to someone, however this has been a detriment to her at times as she can be too honest and in doing so she has offended quite a few people. From being so blunt she has been labelled as a bit of a mean girl on occasion, even though she has everyone's best interests at heart.
Nia is fairly sporty and enjoys running, football and gymnastics, but her main love is music. She plays the drums, mainly because her older brother told her that she couldn't as they were a boys instrument and she was determined to prove him wrong. She enjoys all types of music but she has a particular love for George Michael as he is her mother's favourite musician.
Overall, Nia is organised and pretty academic, even though socially she tends to be very spontaneous, and although personality wise she can be a bit of a tomboy, Nia always works hard on her appearance and ensures that her hair, makeup and outfits are as perfect as possible.



She was born to muggle parents so when the letter from Hogwarts came it was quite a shock. She has 3 siblings, 1 older brother, 1 younger brother and an older sister and she gets along with them very well. She comes from a big family so has many cousins and aunts and uncles.
Due to having such a large family, Nia is very family focused and has struggled with being away from anyone that she is familiar with for the first time now that she is in Hogwarts.
Back home she has a few close friends from her previous school and she tries to keep in touch with them as much as possible.



When Nia was 8 years old she got into an argument with her older brother while they were walking back from school. As he annoyed her more and more she felt a sudden rush of anger and unconsciously tied his shoelaces together. Instantly he tripped and fell into a puddle, and Nia was as confused as her brother was about how the knot had formed.
