Physical Description: Orion is an awkward-looking, curly-haired boy. His curls are wild and messy, and his outfits are usually carelessly thrown together. He's your average 11-year-old, weird and awkward- and a bit nerdy. He's got a baby face he doesn't like that much, often finding himself looking up tutorials of any sort so that he can get a jawline- usually doing dumb stuff that doesn't make sense and does nothing at all.
Mental Description: Orion is an awkward, nerdy boy. He's not very confident in himself, however isn't your stereotypical shy quiet nerd, you know? He's a weird kid, obsessed with weird things that nobody else likes. He's not the smartest kid in the bunch, and spews out gross facts he thinks are cool. Orion is known for his fearless curiosity, often holding bugs he thinks are cool or pointing out poisonous plants.
Biography: Orion had a bit of a confusing childhood for the most part. Orion was born on November 2nd, 2012 to two parents who loved him dearly. However, as he grew up, his parents distanced more and more, and eventually got a divorce, much to Orion's dismay. A lot of things changed in his life when that happened. Due to his mother's travel for work, he spent the majority of his time with his father, and as he got older he was torn between two worlds, one with familiarity and one with curious uncertainty.
His father was a muggle. Most of Orion's life was spent in a small place, playing video games or going out to play with friends. He didn't get much of any exposure to magic, being blissfully unaware of the magical world for the most part, getting glimpses of magic from his mother when she came to visit, but never more than small, simple spells that Orion often brushed off and summed it up to be just one of the weird things about his mother.
Up until Hogwarts, he only had glimpses of magic in his life, getting them from his mother when she was in town. While he enjoyed that, taking the stories of magic his mother would tell him as mysteries to be solved, he didn't exactly understand magic too much- even if he was accustomed to it. He wanted to know more, so when he got his Hogwarts acceptance letter, he was beyond excited.
First Instance of Magic: When he was about five, he hated his alarm clock. It had such a loud and irritating noise in the morning that it just frustrated him beyond comprehension. One morning, he was a bit too angry at the alarm clock, and while he carefully just snoozed it, it never rang again. He slept in so late his dad was very angry, but finding that it was the alarm's fault. He tried fixing it, but no matter what it would not ring for some reason. Eventually, they realized it was attributed to magic since there was no non-magical reason the clock wasn't working.
