Looks: Ephinea is a short slim and shy girl. She has medium brown hair and blue eyes. She always wears a gold bracelet with a blue butterfly pendant that she got from her parents. She has reading-glasses and rosy cheeks.

Peronality: She is very shy, and you will most likely see her sitting with her nose in a good book during free periods. She might not have many friends, but she is very loyal to the few that she has. She is very kind and she’ll stand up for what she believes in. She has a lot of imagination and is very creative. She has been through a lot, and sometimes the dark side of her life shows through as it has painted and stained a part of her personality more than she thought.

She likes: All Animals, dance, books, nature, the dark, learning, drawing.
She does not like: Big crowds, very upfront people, lots of noise, when someone’s mean to any of her friends.

Before Hogwarts. Ephinea Sorez Mephine is born and raised in London. Her dad John, and mother Emma married each other two years before having Ephinea and her twin sister Alexa. Ephinea was brought up to being a kind, polite and happy girl. She never had any trouble making friends, and keeping them. But one day, four years after her parents wedding her father decided to leave them. He just left, without any explanation or even saying goodbye. Ephinea loved her dad, and they where very close. If she ever needed to talk to someone, her father would be there for her, and now he was gone. Ephinea and Alexa would have to take care of themselves most of the time, because their mom would not be in shape to. She would always cry and cry, sometimes she wouldn’t come out of her room at all. And Ephinea or Alexa would have to make dinner and take care of the house. At this time, they were only ten years old. 
One day, Their mother came out of her room, looking awfull in every way. She hadn’t showered in long, she was very skinny and her eyes where red and tired. «I’m going out» she said, and left. Ephinea and Alexa desperatly tried talking to her. Tried getting her to explain. But she didn’t even look at them. Ephinea and Alexa thought this was very strange since their mom hadn’t been out in weeks or actually in months. Had she decided to leave them too? They decided to wait and see what happened. Maybe she was heading to the store or something. «Let’s not worry about it» Ephinea said and looked at her sister, worried. A little bit later the doorbell rang. A tall woman with short blond hair looked down at them seriously. «You have to come with me to see your mom» she said and escorted them out to a car. Ephinea and Alexa excanged worried looks, but they just went with it. 
They arrived at a hospital a while later where their mother was lying in a bed. She looked weaker than ever, and she was connected to lots of weird machines and tubes.
Ephinea and Alexa walked in and sat down by her bed. «How are you mom?» Ephinea asked although she wanted to ask so many other questions. «I’m fine darlig» Emma answers wearily. Alwxa looked at her mother disbelieving. It was weir being called darling after so long. Emma read their faces sighed «okay, maybe I’m not totally good» she said. «I’m very sick, and I don’t have to loong to tell you everything. You must be very confused as to why everything that happened you know,  happened». Ephinea and Alexa just looked at their mother. She continued, «The reason why your dad left us, is because he couldn’t stand the truth. He didn’t feel like he could live knowing that we were so different», she paused. «What do you mean wit different?» Ephinea asked. «When we founf out I was pregnant woth you I thought it was time to tell him who I really am» she paused again and looked down at her hands that where almost shaking a little. «Mom, what do you mean?» Alexa asked desperatly. «I don’t want to lose you too through this, do you promise me I won’t lose you too if I tell you?» she asked, a tear sliding down her cheek. The twins nodded. Emma sighed and continued «Okay, My mom and my dad are from a different world... And that is when Emma told her daughters that she was heritage of a magical family and that there was a chanse that they would be invited to that world as well. She told them that their dad left without a word vecause he could not handle the different truth of Emmas family. When she was done explaining everything Alexa and Ephinea gave each other suspicious looks. Abd then they looked at their mom. To their horrid supprise, she was not breathing. She had used her last breath to explain this to them, and that made them see that this was true. 
A sad few months had passed after the death of their mother and it was time for their elleventh birthday. The temporary home they had been placed in didn’t give any attention to this at all. When Ephinea went to get the mail, she found a letter with her name on it. And it was, as her mother had said, from a place named Hogwarts. She eagerly went through the rest of the mail in hope of finding one with Alexas name on it, but there was none. When Alexa found out that Ephinea got to get away from all the ignorant people they were placed with, but that Alexa would have to stay, she became more bitter than she had been in a long time. She and Ephinea lost pretty much all contact. And cince then, Ephinea has never been the same. She is way more shy, quiet and alone than she ever was.
