Physical Description: Elspeth is slightly tall for her age, standing at five feet. She has blue eyes and a slim figure. Her dark blonde hair is easily bleached by the sun into a lighter shade. Elspeth's wavy hair is usually braided, to avoid getting too tangled. Her clothes are practical for running and climbing trees and are often seen stained with mud from her games.

Mental Description: Although Elspeth can be reserved around strangers, she is typically a cheerful and talkative child. When around people, silence makes her nervous, so she often tries to strike up conversations with others. Elspeth is a sensitive kid and is sometimes seen as a crybaby by her peers. However, her empathetic nature makes Elspeth the first to comfort friends and mediate arguments.

Biography: Elspeth grew up in the countryside with her father. Despite losing her mother at a young age to a car accident, Elspeth rarely felt alone. Her father took the role of single dad very seriously and was very involved in Elspeth's childhood. Unlike Elspeth's mother, her father is a muggle and knows very little about the world of magic. Elspeth doesn't have much for friends, preferring to play outside by herself. However, she is not disliked by her peers, and she is often invited to play games that require an additional kid. She is even occasionally consulted for disagreements, to offer a blind opinion or general comfort.

First Instance of Magic: Elspeth has had a few small incidents of accidental magic, but the first occurred at age seven. She was visiting her mother's grave in the anniversary of her death. Elspeth had picked some flowers earlier in the day, and they had started to wilt. But upon placing the flowers on her mother's resting place, Elspeth was surprised to see the flowers miraculously regain their shape and color.
